LOL, hahah that's awesome, Ciela XD... seems like an awkward conversation O_o
edit: I'll consider the marriage offer. :P

Lambchop: I love it, I'm sure Aveyond 2 Will be another hit :D

@lambchop: the corners of your hill are missing, and im not sure if it was intentional, but the trees are extremely small... their not really porportional.

I really like the atmosphere it gives Treg. I do wonder about a couple things (the bright blue poster seems so bright that it breaks the mood for me. And to a certain extent so do the pinky bed sheets)
But certain things like the one open locker door, the dirty kitchen and stained floors...I really enjoy. I'm not sure why I find that one open locker door so appealing. (chock it up in the 'she is a freak' category. n.n')
Out of curiosity, Are the fans on the wall animated?

@Everyone; Thankies^^

kiera - love the screen shot, although the moon is rather big. Not a criticism, just a comment.

@Kaze; Yes that moon is rather large,^^ it is the larger of two moons. (Which I know having two moons would effect the planet and oceans rather drastically, working on researching what that all entails)

@Ciela; I love your unique style, it makes me smile everytime I see it.

@ kiearaphoenix:

This has a great answer to that question (or at least a starting point for research).

I much admire that you're thinking of the science and realism when it comes to your game. It's very refreshing to see :)

TREG: Looking awesome, I really like the feel of the whole thing and pray for it to be a game with more futuristic elemts (I think XP needs more games with machinery and sci-fi elements :P).

Edit: Lunarea: Oh thankies for the moon article as well... very helpful :)

Very nice, Treg. It looks dirty and grungy - perfect for underground.

Do you need the consoles fully sprited, or just designed/colored (but unshaded)?

A while ago, I was working on a futuristic style set, but I've never finished it. I've got a few consoles that may work with a little shading/recoloring.

It probably wouldn't be too difficult to scale it to size (if the size isn't right), but I'm not sure that I'm confident enough to shade it myself. You're welcome to use them, though :)

That's one of the reasons I stopped working on it ':| It just ended up being more generic and modern than crazy inventive futuristic :-/

Awesome Bro

I know what you mean. There's nothing worse than running into a rut when you've already put so much effort into something. But always remember, A resource un-released is a resource wasted. I'm sure somebody will find it useful :)

It does kinda look like some machine from the classic Star Trek's view of what the future'd look like ^^;

Hmm...perhaps retro futuristic? Sometimes we think futuristic as so dramatically different than what we know that we forget that (so far) trends are a thirst for yesterdays. Kinda like how things from the 1950's make a comeback or that trends are leaning towards the 1980's. 50 years ago we were supposed to have silver foil everywhere and be on the moon...so a future 50 years from today might be dramatically different from what we consieve now. Granted we've learned to not be sooo....dramatic in futuristic designs now, (movies like Fifth Element, I Robot, Minority Report) keep things similar yet the technology is more advanced.

Well, the set has virtually no shading on it, just the basic outline and color fill. I still consider myself a beginner when it comes to spriting and was looking for tutorials and researching techniques for shading. It also doesn't help that I'm a bit of a perfectionist and tend to set up high standards for myself.

It's not very futuristic :p

Hehe, that is what I was thinking, reminds me of Star Trek Original series though..which was futuristic..yet simplistic compared to the later shows...

Still could work?
