@Prexus: Where else to begin learning how to make proper houses? ;)

@lordnick5000/Shifter: It's 'cause the guy who built the house was too lazy to make windows, so he just hung curtains up hoping that no one would notice the missing windows.

Yeah ageed, everything looks great apart from the tree roots, and maybe the curtains :P

Looking good Diegoale!

@StrawberryBomb: Too empy. The layout is a little weird too heh.

Here are some early screens. Not my greatest work but it took awhile to get the desired effect. A small beach village that isn't a port town, right on the edge, surviving next to the beach and ocean. I think I managed to get that effect. Nothing fancy but C&C please?

Tents are the go here. "Nothing much, but it's home!"

Some people could afford and built actual houses.

The nearby coastline.

I circled what instantly jumped out as odd to me.

Why would anyone build rocks around a weed in the ground?
Other than that, they look cool to me. I like it when cities have a division between poor and rich in games.

Nice screens.

It seems that you got back on the game again.
I hope to see the now, I've been waiting for it for almost a year.hehe

Seriously, I would love to play this.
Keep it up.

@ eddie: the pathway looks odd... kind of out of place...

also, in your interior, you only have objects on the back wall... add some on the sides and bottom walls...

Haha oh in that case the plan failed, it just draws more attention! He he =D

Still..great looking currents (and everything else)

@Desdro: Yea, those aren't my ground autotiles so I haven't edited the roots yet. My own autotiles are on my main computer, which has been at the repair guy for the past 4-5 weeks and will stay there for the next 3-4. -_-"

@Shifter: Aww, really? Well I notified the guy who built the house, and he finally decided to build some windows. See the image below.

I think I've finished the houses. I just need to add the porches and flower pots, but the roof and windows are done.

What do you think?

Yes, there's a chicken on the roof. Don't ask.

Thank you. ^_^

Well, there's something wrong with the motherboard. It's pretty busted. They've sent the motherboard to the company where it was made, but the company is on a sort of holiday, so it's taking extra long. -.-;

You submitted that to the mapping academy.

You aren't properly placing shadows in corners, and the cosmetic fog really makes it easy to see. Also, the room seems cramped by object tiles you have placed in the middle of the room.

Zomgshadow.
I like the shape of it. But is that cosmetic fog or just a negative fog01? It's probably due to personal preference, but I don't see it as too cramped.

Twin: Pretty nice..you should make diff shaped lighting for the windows though..rounded lighting coming from a square window is odd..but that's just me being nitpicky :)

What I do wanna know is..Where did the chicken go? You said not to ask why he was there..but not to ask why he wasnt :) HE HE.
