Mein Gott! Kant must be turning over in his grave :wink:Venetia":jvk3sdcu said:Lust is a product of the human condition, but need for acceptance IS the human condition!
Actually, the hormonal teen has a biological factor kicking in; although it isn't necessarily controlling him, it is urging him on to fulfill his desires. The fat kid, however, unless famished, undernourished (something I doubt, what with the fat...) or victim of some psychological disorder (e.g.: binge eating disorder), will probably not eat it, unless he wants to provoke you.Venetia":jvk3sdcu said:Saying that a hormonal teen shouldn't have sex is like telling a group of fat guys not to eat your chocolate cake when your back is turned. Sure, some will resist. But chances are, there's going to be a big bite out of that cake when you turn back around to look!
Isn't annoying when someone takes one of your analogies, three or four posts prior to his, and criticize it?
Anyway. I remember someone mentioning that teenagers had "no rights" to sex; biological functions and social interactions aren't "rights". They're part of nature. You don't earn them, you don't deserve them: you have them, that's all.
I don't see anything wrong with teenage sex per se, as long as each partner is aware of the possible consequences and fully accepts the responsibility of the act. I doubt pregnant 13 years old were aware of it, but you people have all pointed it out (education, etc. etc.).
I don't see much to add now. Feels like we're rambling over and over.
