Teenage Pregnancy

I'd like to reiterate my point about alternative sex. There's more than one hole in the body--and those other holes won't lead to pregnancy!
that might be, but you still have the problem with STD's

Like the ear! Which sparks the new phrase, Once you go black, you go deaf.

I'm sorry but the quotes, they keep on coming.
And the puns, those too.

On a serious note though, I think that we need more safe sex ed. than abstinence...And people should use condoms correctly more, but sadly a lot don't...And we have people with bunches of kids that they can't support, and many don't have real father/mother figures because the said parent left them...And then these families get all this free money and things...And then that leads to people just living off of free stuff and not really doing anything productive...Which they need to realize that all of the free stuff given to them that other people work for is not a handout, but a hand UP.
And, I've known a few girls get pregnant at a very early age...And well these weren't the type who'd make honor roll or, even care really...Sad stuff .

What does that mean? Well, if you pair condoms with another form of control, such as an IntraUterine System, a Female Condom, or Birth Control Pills, your risk is even further reduced... Female condoms are risky because they can be "jammed" up into the cervix, creating infection.

Pairing a male and female condom actually makes them way less effective. The friction causes either the condoms to stick together (possibly pulling the male condom off, as well as pushing the female condom in) or tear. Most (if not all) female condom packages have that warning on it somewhere.

Has anyone else heard the saying/statistic that "up to 70% of people catch genital herpes from an infected partner who has no symptoms"? Doesn't that mean that 30% screwed someone with sores on their funtime parts?  :-\ Some people have no self-respect.

The simple way to avoid teen pregnancy? Put the girl on top. She can't get pregnant, it's gravity man.

My friend (a guy) asked the other day:

"If she goes on top, can I get pregnant?"

Anyway. Five girls at my school just turned out to be pregnant. All have done sex ed since year 5, if not before. They all know about safe sex, condoms, etc. It's just a case of "it won't happen to me, because I'm special"; or "what happens happens". Nobody cares, until it happens.

But then... two people got expelled for having sex in the toilets, and one expelled for... as Chuck Berry would put it, playing with his dingaling, unfortunately in firing distance of a teacher, so to speak. Urgh.

If I made a girl pregnant, I'd  tell her to put it up for adoption if she didn't want an abortion. No-one can afford a child at this age (for me, 16) and it basically means you are stuck to this girl for life. Not good.

So, if you're going for a root, UNPROTECTED, ask her if she wants a kid. If not, slip a nightgown on your knob, a sheath on your sharpshooter, an Ansell on your appendage, a franger on your flesh-flute, a latex on your love-gun, a raincoat on your rod, a johnny on your juice extractor, a silencer on your pistol, some pajamas on your banana, put some whiskey on your Clinton... just use a condom on your penis. Problem solved.

My school has a nursery at the front for the student's children. Students being 12-16 year olds.

Are you serious? there'd have to be a lot of 12-16 year olds with kids for them to do that

At my school (A catholic school where religion was a mandatory subject) they were completely in favour of contraception, there were places nearby giving it out for free and not a single person in my school was ever pregnant during the time I was there ( it was 12-18 year olds) although pretty much everyone over 16 was having sex (well...more than half of the students over 16 anyway)
so yeah....is this abstinence only sex education something only taught in American schools? I've never heard of it anywhere else.

All I say is that for the time being I don't really see teen pregnancy as much of a problem. I know it occurs but if they (the parents) decide that they are not able to handle the burden of having a child or able to support it they should consider having the child adopted by a couple who may want one.

You can't really prevent people from having sex at adolescent age. They know that by having sex that they in turn have a good chance of having a kid. I don't think the problem is that people aren't educated in the matter. They know damn well what they're doing. They just choose to ignore it.

Also, most adoption cases don't turn out bad. I know this girl real well and she's been adopted. She couldn't have been better. She's in a good, healthy relationship and everything. Her biological parents were 16's year olds too.

I dunno, I suppose the Canadian sex ed system's a little more comprehensive. We covered the various methods of birth control, the methods for use, the side effects, and the percent effectiveness both alone and in conjunction with others. Afterwards, we had a "relationships" unit that did its best to convince people to stop dating abusive jackasses. This was all just recently (eleventh grade,) so I guess I gotta give them some kudos for sustained effort.

Of course, we're called the "bank skanks" for a reason. People use protection, but they get around like rabbits. It might be some form of socioeconomics, since generally kids who attend here have redneck oil-baron parents and can afford stuff, but for the most part it just seems like luck; there hasn't been a single pregnancy I know of (or at least remember.)

I know a girl, though, a friend of a friend (literally) who got pregnant at 18 or 19 or something. The father left her six months to a year afterward, and her grandmother's doing the majority of the childcare. I'm not sure what effect it's gonna have on her, but I can say without much doubt that that baby's not gonna live a very happy life. She chose to keep him, but in this case, adoption might have been a better alternative; it's better to grow up with parents who care than parents who don't, and a full-time babysitter. People gotta do more than just think of themselves when they conceive, like that rat who bailed; for all I know, that girl was an amazing, compassionate person who was just forced into that situation by lack of a supporting actor. Thanks to some combination of their actions, that kid's gonna have some big problems in his life.
