Ashley is from Wario Ware, yes.  I know she has a theme song in the game, but I'm not sure if she's a playable character.

Sez in that list that she's deconfirmed, since she appeared in the Warioware stage itself. So are 9-Volt and Jimmy.

Not a big problem. I'm not sure they'd be very good characters.

I mean, even Olimar did stuff. Jimmy and Ashley hardly have developed personalities; they just set up the next minigame set.

I'm pretty sure Dragoon originated from Kirby's Air Ride, did it not? I don't recall it in any Kirby games prior.

I'm not liking the sound of the invincibility frames for Pokemon. Sheik had like a single frame where attacks went through her when transforming; you don't want to have too much invincibility time or they'll just be reckless switches of pokemon constantly. It could get cheap.

They can't do that, if you don't switch them out every once in a while, or use the same Pokemon too much, or switch them out too much I think they weaken or something like that...er, go look it up, lol.

Each pokemon keep's their health it said. Actually, it might've said each pokemon share the same health, I'll go check again.
They all share the same damage meter, so they don’t recover from damage during Pokémon Change. But they also have another stat, which you might call stamina.

If you keep fighting with the same Pokémon, or if you change them out too often, it’s not so good for the Pokémon.
http://www.smashbros.com/en_uk/characte ... ainer.html the bottom of the "pokemon change" section.
So if you keep on switching pokemon they will get weaker and weaker.

The C-stick just lets you use uncharged Smash attacks. You could get the same results from tapping A and left. If you leave yourself open to attack, it's not your opponent's fault. It's not even a exploit, it's a feature; I figured you'd be more annoyed with wavedashers or the like.

I know, the c-stick is just like pressing Y to jump...a different control method.

So if you keep on switching pokemon they will get weaker and weaker.
People who played it said that the stamina thing is really inconsequential.

Wow, Distant Planet graphically looks beautiful, lol. They better come out with Pikmin 3 soon, the environment in this level looks almost realistic.

Actually, using the c-stick initiates a smash attack much quicker than the control stick + A. When you play non-c-stick with your friends, then challenge a hack who uses the c-stick, it's extremely annoying. Try going across the whole of final destination with Falco with A + sideways, then try c-stick. You'll get there quicker with the c-stick. Alternatively, if you want to go into how many frames difference it is (to get technical), do 1/2 speed on practise and work it out. You'll see.

I'm not saying don't use it. I personally find it annoying when people do use it, considering that when I play with friends on a 'professional' level (that is, no items, flat stages), using the c-stick demeans play, i feel. You don't have to agree, but I play my Smash Bros pretty seriously and people who use the c-stick in a cheap fashion, constantly spamming it is plain annoying.

Almost every fighting game has moves that someone could spam and possibly win. However, skilled players are usually able to defeat the people spamming those moves because their true skill is limited.

i dont mean to offent, but anyone who plays 'professional' is missing the point of smash bros.
one-v-one with no items on a generic level is the most boring thing there is. thats not even smash bros. smash bros is 4 people on a ridiculous level that changes its shape every 30 seconds, against asshole computer opponents that fiend like crazy to kill you once your damage hits 100, and getting jewed when they drop a bobomb right in front of you while youre charging a smash attack.

i hardly use the c-stick. i dont see any reason of holding a grudge against people who do tho. so it's fast. then why the hell would you just complain about how other people use it than just using it yourself when necessary?

new pikmin level looks nuts.. and the new release date (told you :( ) is lame.

I don't necessarily play 1v1... one of my friends keeps his GC at school, and (when I play) they play 4v4 with no items. We like to verse each other as a measure of each other's skill. Items get in the way of that. You don't need to understand, you're not the same player as myself or my friends. Everyone has their own tastes.

Yep, those players just get in the way though.

The Pikmin level does look pretty mad. The graphics on the level look fair cool, has a touch of realism to I reckon.

Kaze, is your name to be pronounced ka-ze as in wind (as opposed to kayz, phonetically)?
