I think Olimar is a mistake. He doesn't seem 'Smash Bros'y.

and snake/ike/zero-suit-samus does? o__O
olimar is total smash bros material. he's a cartoony space man that pulls silly little creatures out of the ground and tosses them around. how is that not smash material? :\

it was a mistake to leave him out of melee tbh. olimar is one of the most creative nintendo characters ever. =D

i'm hoping he's useable tho. in melee i played every character except for the few i found unuseable.. which were mewtwo, ice climbers, and DK. i'm afraid they'll make olimar another novelty act like the ice climbers :{

I was good with quite a few characters, but then again I just didn't sue the reast. I can use mewtwo, quite good with him, but hes just annoying to play as.
I'm awsome with ice climbers, they're so powerful.

That reminds me, i hope Ike's good. For one, I used Marth in Melee a lot(Roy, to me, was too slow), so I hope Ike can compete with Marth. Also, Ike's awesome in FE:  Path of Radiance (Aether was totally awesome in that game), so I hope his awesomeness shows up in this game!!!

I've used Captain Falcon ever since I found out about a certain electric leg joint, but if he's not in it by some bizarre act of god I suppose I could head back even farther to my original Kirby roots. I still have a soft spot for that guy, and he's hardly changed; nothing to improve on, I guess, even if constant Final Cutters are pretty cheap. They'd be cheaper if they had any actual knockback power to them, though.

I hope Mewtwo gets in...I was best with him. Me and some of my friends had a 4 player match and one of the guys and I were still fighting for quite a while...(I lost, but still...he said I put up quite a fight, lol)

I was never really able to get the hang of Mewtwo's special moves. I'm more of a direct fellow than a strategist, and so I just used his melee attacks for the most part.

Those melee attacks were pretty good, though.

How so? I find that most any character can fit in with Smash Bros.. I mean, if Mario, Link, Snake, and Jigglypuff can fit in just fine, then how does Olimar not?

I was never really able to get the hang of Mewtwo's special moves. I'm more of a direct fellow than a strategist, and so I just used his melee attacks for the most part.

Those melee attacks were pretty good, though.

mewtwo's special attacks are retarded. one of them you have to be dierectly in front of the oppent, face-to-face, and it does next to nothing. the other you also have to be in your opponents breathing room. shadowball was badass, and his back throw were fucking awesome though. that back throw was the only thing i could use to even kill anyone @__@

As soon as it's released in Japan i will not stop searching the internet for more information.
C'mon Europe release date T_T If it's banned here for it's "Violence" I will not have the will to live.
If smash is delayed again then a lot of people will be pissed off. In Japan they are showing commercials so I doubt it will be delayed again. The game look playable so far, unless there are tons of bugs.

It seems an interesting premise to have to pluck new Pikimin to do Smash attacks or (I assume) special moves. He probably makes up for the slight impediment in power or versatility.

Dat's weird, I personally love marth, and roy to me just sucks. I hate people that say that Marth was in SSBM just to get Roy. That's retarted. Besides, people think that Marth's worse cause he's less powerful, but roy in some aspects really sucks. I like comboing, but roy is so damn slow, so i choose marth (also roy's B attack is stupid. I never landed it fully charged, not even when jigglypuff misses rest or if a person is frozen
