Yes, it is fairly easy to befriend every single last race. Even the grox, but that will probably cost you about 10M in supplies. And if you do, the whole rest of the galaxy turns on you, excluding those that you already had an alliance with. but getting to the center of the galaxy is a bitch to complete if the grox are attacking you and they won't let you recharge/repair at grox planets.

  Complaining about the simplistic evolution system, whining about the DRM, and crying that the game was a total ripoff from the previews seen two years ago.  It's got the lowest rating I've seen for a product on Amazon. :/

Okay I finally got the game (It was a whole fuckin WEEK late so best buy gave me a 5$ coupon, yay....) and it is the most AMAZING game I have EVER played... outside of the original Suikoden...

i wonder how many people went the omnivore route? it's SOOOO much easier then the other two. buying people off is way easier than destroying them all or befriending them all. and as a creature it's so much more fun allying with strong creatures and decimating only the weak ones.

I've played all three paths up to tribal, and as far as creature and tribal go, Herbivore is the easiest in my opinion.

Omnivore/Industrious is definetely the way to go in civ though. assuming you can make enough money to buy out all of the cities. It gets a little bit boring waiting around for money.

Religious attempts at taking over cities are indeed male genitalia (wtf?), and i agree about carnivore being all about constant upgrading.

however, it's hard to multitask with omni, especially in Creature, esp. mouthes. singing mouth, biting mouth, or 3 of both bite and sing?
that problem definetely goes away in tribal and civ though. but the abilities you get in space assuming you take omni are ASS.
It essentially boils down to less waiting and an employee discount. wheeeee. So if you actually get attacked you're pretty much FUCKED. unless you bribe 'em. which is awesome.

Which pretty much means I chose the hardest one? And I find it pretty easy so far. Only problem are the Grox. Most planets fall before my troups in about 1-5 minutes, but those damn Grox have so many of them.... I hate it.
But I am gathering stuff to finnish them off now. Those guys will be assimilated.
