I got a group of my creatures together to try and take down a Massive Epic creature, which ended with my entire pack being wiped out.

I just entered the civ stage so I'll be looking forward to that today :D.

Also I'll have to say im kind of disappointed with the tribal stage, it doesn't seem as good as the other stages. But oh well, still fun.

...Massive Epic creature? You mean like a boss or something? There are bosses?! lol

There are so called epic creatures, that are extremely large. When they come at you the ground is shaking and there steps are very loud. Also they have HP around 1000 (Where you can be happy if your creature has around 50) Basically those guys could kill you with one hit if they got you by suprise.
I was just attacking a pack of my pray when that giant grasshopper suddenly appeared. I ran like hell. Luckily for me he was after my pray not me. ^^

the demo you can, but thats jsut the creature creator.
I remember seeing from a distance a poor nest of cute baby like birds, screaming running in panic as a giant squirdle-like creature wreaked havoc upon them.
it was hilarious!

I believe I am playing way to aggressive, ive made 30 species extinct >_>

Ha, I destroyed civilizations on 22 planets by now. And that doesn't count the tribes I destroyed, because I wanted their T3-Planets (The ones where living is the easiest.) It only counts if they do have spaceships as well. If I count everything I am up to 30 or so by now.
I can't wait to get to the center of the universe, but there is this super powerfull race there that totally hates me and attacks me whenever I get near. I guess I have to go at war... Time to upgrade my laser and bombs...

i suck so badly at the space part i always run to low on money..... my first time it started with one place owning 6 stars around me (they hate me)......

The tribal stage seems to mainly be an introductory to the civ stage, so it's not going to be that great.

oh, and someone should change the title to "spore is here!", because it's the 7th  :cheers:! Gamestop should open at 6:00 AM on sunday, instead of 11 AM.  :down:

Ah thats right you guys will get it to today. Goodbye servers!
They crashed the first day we got it as well. For some hours noone could get online features.
But since I am going to go to the city today I guess I won't notice it that much.

So I guess we will see each other in Spore than.

By the way I am upgrading like crazy right now, because I can unlock a bomb soon that can destroy a whole planet. Should making war a whole lot easier.  :grin:

I jsut entered space phase and im excited. the space phase is huge, so much to do!
i thought this game would be over too quickly but nope... i dont even think ill ever finish this game!

since this is maxis(think the sims) im hoping they'll releases expansions on this game a dozen times to add like a under water creatures, flying creatures, other phases etc and expand on everything. Think game will be on top for several years to come!

I think they stated once that they want to do expansion packs. I am pretty curuous what they will add as well. I really hope they do add some under water stuff. It would totally rock.

space age is nearly impossible on hard..... if you make even one enemy before you get two allied ships your screwed you don't even stand a chance..... right now ive found the grox and i have a mission to go to the other side of the galaxy......

has any one wasted the money to actually buy a planet from an ally.....

Sheesh...time sure does fly by when playing this game, lol. Just got to the Tribal Stage too...but I need a break now, I've been playing this game all day. I'm going to have a snack and play Super Mario RPG, I'll play more of this tomorrow. (must...get....to....space....lol)

Depends... I bought the home planet from one of my allies for 5.000.000 $. But this thing is giving me so much money in return that it was a very good deal.
However if you buy one that they are willing to give you for 500.000 $ you know you will get the last crap (at least until you change it to at least T2).

Man, I love all the things you can create. Buildings, ships, creatures, e.t.c. Just wish creatures had more coloring options.

I just got to the civilization phase. The tribal phase was fun, although I only allied with one other tribe. The other tribes had already attacked me first, and I'm not going to give THEM gifts. It's more fun to storm their hut with spears and flaming torches.
