I understand that the sketchy linework is probably a stylistic attempt, but it could work a lot better if you put in a bit more time and made it into a bona-fide piece. The stuff in the back looks awfully clumsy, and the big friendly rounded Flash-paintbrush edges kind of take the edge off of the action the piece is supposed to convey.
The seam on the helmet doesn't match up with the seam on the visor, either. It messes with my perspective, even if I try to trick myself into thinking he's wearing it askew for some reason.
Gotta look good on that battlefield, yassuh! Tilted hat ain't never done no harm to nobody! That's what I bring the guns for!
Oh, I just noticed that it's a flat-planed crest at the front of the helmet. Disregard that last point, then.
