I wasn't surprised that you could switch between styles.  Just surprised at the sudden change in styles you've had lately.  I, myself, am illustrating a book for first graders right now...  They don't like anime girls with enormous "bazongas" in elementary school.  They prefer something a little less...  awesome I guess.  At least it's giving me a chance to try new things.

They like animals. They can relate to the wild and free caring spirit of animals.
I wrote a children's book once, and illustrated it for writing class. It was pretty rad if I do say so myself. I just gotta find it now :X
I'll post it up when I do find it.

the forum peoplez seem to have some issues with their jaw lines .. or maybe where their head sconnect their necks.. maybe a little of both ... remind me to look again when it isnt 5 am... why am i up this late again?

EDIT: OH! I FIGURED OUT ONE OF THE THINGS THATS BUGGING ME! (do i seem drunk when i'm tired..?)

On that light blue one with eh "honest" thing. His neck should be connecting more where his ear is. The rest of it can basicly stay the same and still be a good caricature, just slide it down so his ear rests abotu where his neck is hitting his head. Otherwise he looks all smooshed.

it loosk liek tha'ts happenign in some of the other ones a bit too but it's most prominent in the blue one becaus of the profile view... ok too lazy to fix typos. good night.

I would have thought you are drunk. Good catch, but I don't think its the jaw line, I think its just the lower back of the head thats missing.

It's wear the neck meets the back of the head.

Just traced over it and then copy/pasted and dragged the neck a little. see how much less awkward it looks :O

at least the position of the head anyways. my quick outlines aren't exactly artistic gold XD
