Huh... It's going to be tough without the download manager. That was the main reason I joined... Of course, I stayed because of the massively helpful members, so don't think you're rid of me just yet. >: D
I'm gonna go rummage around for a comprehensive list of resources. The shift might take some getting used to, but after a bit of tweaking I can tell it's gonna be an improvement... Well, discounting the server strain-related stuff that makes it better already.

Yeah, the link thing is rather irritating, though personally, I'm not replacing the link in my sig, 'cause I don't wanna know how horrible my topic looks. XD

I like the new forums, and it sounds like they're heading in a better direction!
The only things I miss are the old smileys, and the "Quick Reply" box.

Care to elaborate? Now that I've fully read this thread I'm beginning to have a better understanding and support for what you are trying to do. Right now, I see that people can post new threads in the forums other than the Early Projects forum, though I might not bring up such an issue about it since that MAY be on your to-do list.

BTW I'm still working on a hat for that avatar, it's the hair man... the hair is TOO big.
BTW just because this seemed like the best place to post it, if my little prank yesterday in IRC about the changes in the forums and the new systems upset you then sorry. It was all in good jest I had thought.
Those changes I mentioned were made up in my head, as I stated so don't think too poorly on us.
And a hardy congrats to getting the site up and ready again, even if it is partially "broken". You guys busted your ass for about 12 hours on that one, I just hope we were able to help out in some small way over in the IRC.
