The Aerian city is amazing. I really enjoy just by walking there aimlessy. Definitely the greatest Rpg Maker city I have ever played, even though I probably see only purple and yellow for the next two weeks.
Not sure if it happened to anyone else but when they open the gates and the general and king speak, and then a knock at the door, the king goes right through the general... Kinda weird :P
Great chapter! I'm playing it right now :D
Edit:another one. Happens when I get reiver and do that mini game.

If you can't see it, you are numbered A and Z in the middle, but on the bottom right it has A and C
I'm sorry but, this is probably not as concerning as the others but.. I went int a pedestrians home, and well I found something, In the tile there is one part of the stairs where you go up to the top, outside of the tile, then you walk to the left and you're suddenly at the top...
Guard Problem:This one is a biggie, when you go through there, and through the other guards, it gives a flashback with the character on it, then teleporting you straight back to where Lunair and Reivier.
And wewt, much thanks for the bug reports! After I get to fixing all of them I'll have to release a fixed version for future players. And don't worry Sixty, it's impossible to find all the bugs. :> You guys did good.
Edit: @Makio: Oh, I tried to work out that bug about the guard C "cheat" in the mini-game and realized that I misinterpreted what you meant, hahah. You just got lucky that there happened to be no guard Cs on your way, they are actually randomized. :>
Edit3: Thanks to Makio-Kuta, Spades, Zammysoul, pathbinder and Kingwalrus, here is an updated fixed version for those who hasn't downloaded it yet:
And personally I wouldn't recommend downloading it again path (my bad, I'll go correct the name now), there's no real difference, just a few bug fixes. o:
Reives, we've never spoken but I already have a love-hate relationship with you. I just played chapters I-V without stopping and it's now almost 5 AM e_e
@noobo:
Oops, I'll have to fix that up. :> Thanks for the report.
@Justin:
Heheh, glad you liked it! Hope ya can get some good sleep now. :> By the way, playing Dark Eternal back when I was getting started helped me set the course right, so thanks for that!
P.S. If anyone played the new version with the minor bug fixes, let me know. Since sometimes minor bug fixes can result in unexpected crashes at random places. D:

Oooooo glad to hear it DE2 is still in the works so be sure to watch for updates.. I can't really see too much where you were influenced, you have a very unique project right here and I need chapter six right now >_>
Mm, I always take a small break after each chapter to get my thoughts together and regain some sanity. But this time, I think I might make a very very short mini-project for Halloween, inspired by alexia's The Search for Thomas and Calibre's Cell Chamber's first setting. :> I've been wanting to do this for a while now.
Will probably take a week or so, which I'd be taking a break otherwise anyway. And just for fun, Quintessence's cast will be used in an alternated manner.
wow....this was absolutely amazing.....I really loved playing this. The map effects were splendid, and the story was just....amazing XD
I loved playing this, and yeah, it dosn't have game play, but man, it's one of the best things I've ever watched....
it's got enough to make it an rpg, I'm in the abandoned city where the battle system first kicks in. I'd love to play it all in one siting, but it's a bit late. I loved this, good job, keep it up.
Glad you enjoyed it. :> There are some game-play starting from the part you left off, but game-play diminishes again in Chapter IV. Some more are existent in Chapter V though.
By the way, are ya playing the one I uploaded at first or the fixed one that I re-uploaded last night? If it is the original, I recommend downloading the newer version to continue with your current save files, due to a glitch in Chapter V that *may* mess up your game if you exploit it by accident. It's no biggie though to be honest, as long as you becareful and save often. (It's just a spot where there are guards blocking you, but the guards were passable by accident - so don't go through them and enter the building :>.)
Just finished chapter V yesterday, you always did a great job Reives
I really like this chapter especially the end make me curious.
Vikon always make me laugh :D
I was the first to play the game before it came out, and I have to say, that it was seriously my favorite chapter so far. The ending was a shocker that surprised even me, and left me wanting for more. Amazing game. Can't wait for QEVI to come out =D
I just finished it all, and I must say, I love the character Vikon amd his "wife". That is some of the funniest interactions I have seen in a long long while.
Best quote:
Where Reivier sees him outside the kichen after the soldiers arrive. And he asks him what he's up to and Vikon goes: "I'm standing guard" Reivier: "Aren't you facing the wrong way then" Vikon: ... Reivier: ... and this goes on a couple of times and his face graphic changes a bit each time, I almost pissed myself laughing.
He has to be the dumbest motherf*cker ever, but you can't help but love him.
