Correct. The British English equivalent, used in Australia as well. interestingly 'servo' is the commonly australian slang for this, which is short for 'service station' derived from the time where there where workers who serviced your car and did that shit for you and the name is still used even now

I've been saving money where I can. No pop. No games. Plain turkey sandwiches and water. Saving gas by waiting to go into town until my eye doctor appointment. It's never a simple check up, they always make me pay for stupid scans and dilate my pupils and I don't have insurance so it always hurts my wallet. Well, even when I had insurance it didn't cover their scanning machines.
If my appointment goes well I might splurge afterward.

But man, no caffeine really kills my motivation. I think "I should do something fun", but everything feels dull and pointless.

Edit: Awesome. The plastic sides of my glasses were starting to wear and chip but luckily my frames were down to the last day warranty and I can get them replaced for free.

I've never thought of eye care as expensive, I guess the nhs must subsidise it or something? I pay £15 for a full eye examination with all the technology, hell sometimes it's free with a coupon...

Ouch. Sight is important, man.
