Post What's on Your Mind

Amy, I've never tried making an MMO. You've gotten started on an online game at least a few times since I've been on this forum. Any specific reason why those efforts led to dead ends? Or are they actually good starts to projects abandoned for non-technical reasons?
No technical reason, I am simply bipolar andgo through months of insane creativity followed by me nths of sitting in a corner and lose all track of everything and can't get started again.

Started playing RuneScape again... which means I'll probably try and make an MMO soon. My life has a predictable and boring cycle.

RS3 or OSRS? I got back into Runescape earlier this year, but since my account was hacked and banned, and I couldn't appeal it back (Lost so much shit you have no idea... santa hat and red mask included!) I decided to give the new Runescape a try, and despite it being SUPER easy to level up, and some quests have been changed (to my disliking in some cases), it's been pretty fun, although I've spent more time just chatting to people in the Grand Exchange than actually doing anything useful, lol

I fell for it again this year too. Seems like I always start playing again around christmas time.

Finally competed Desert Treasure and Monkey Madness. I've wanted to do them ever since they came out in... 2004?! But back then dying meant so much more in RuneScape. Nowadays dying means very little and money is easy to obtain anyway.

Feels good man. A bit of childhood dreaming fulfilled.

Also I 1 hit KO'd the demon in Monkey Madness lol. Back in the day they recommended safe spots and all this and that.

Eww you fucking scrub as if you never did Monkey Madness back in the day, bet you cried everytime you saw someone walking round with a Drag Scimmy, eh? :P

I've never done Desert Treasure myself though mainly because Ancient Magic never really interested me, or magic in general aside from teleports, which are now useless thanks to the waypoints and home teleport ability... but getting an air staff, a fuck ton of law runes, and an auto clicker is still the easiest way to get Magic to 99, Camelot Teleport broken af.

I fixed these small annoyances around the house on Sunday while my parents were away. Primarily this one door lock that was always jamming and needed to be jiggled around to get it lock properly. I took it apart and got it cleaned and lubed.

So when my mom came home, without saying anything, I lead her over to the door knowing she'd want it shut and lock it. She didn't notice. In fact she acted like it was still broken. Unlocking and Relocking it multiple times, jiggling and testing the door to see if it was locking saying "ugh, this door..."
and I'm just standing behind her like

Stuck on the boss of The Firemaker's Curse now for the opposite reason. Bloody 1hko boss.

But my second account is now 1833 total with 233 quest points. My first was 1514/198 iirc.

Thr only stat I had higher was 88 fletching.
