Amy, I've never tried making an MMO. You've gotten started on an online game at least a few times since I've been on this forum. Any specific reason why those efforts led to dead ends? Or are they actually good starts to projects abandoned for non-technical reasons?
Coyote, I'm sure paranoia has a very useful evolutionary reasoning behind it. I'm not sure I see the relation to reluctance to asking for help though. I guess I could see the connection now that you've made one, but I could also just as easily point to cooperation, empathy, generosity, and altruism as being useful evolutionary traits. Lots of other animals display traits like that, and not just caring for their own offspring: tortoises that flip each other back on their feet, whales that save seals from being eaten by orcas, adult animals fostering animals of other species...
