Think about the current tcg’s that are popular. Pokémon (although short for pocket monsters it’s still one word), yugioh, vanguard.. then you have others like force of will and duel masters. But they’re all pretty simple.
Amy that looks cool! It’s got that TCG look for sure. Im still testing to make sure the effects that I’ve made for certain cards aren’t overpowered so I haven’t finalized what they’ll actually look like yet.. but it’ll be something along the lines of this.
Also, it’s going to have its own app like hearthstone.

Amy, you'll never get a license to use RPGM assets outside of RPGM. Any chance you could make your card game inside RPGM?

It's 5 years since the Official Forums opened. In that time they have made 700,000 posts and we have made about I reckon somewhere in the region of 50,000. Reckon they'll overtake us this year. And of course, the vast majority of their posts are game-making related. We dun fucked up.
Prior to that we were making 10 to 20 thousand posts a month.

I think right now would be a bad time to attempt to change anything with HBGames, it is more likely to fully kill the community than get it back into the swing. We are certainly in the stage where a select few members are using mega threads as some kind of chat room.
I don't think making a PWOYM forum category will work with the current climate. The official forums have profile posts which fills that need quite nicely.

I opted to not say anything negative about people wanting to make TGCs, but I do share bacon's thoughts.
Part of why I think it may be better to actually physically produce the cards is because the digital market is so freaking saturated with the genre. I find another developer making a TGC every week - if you're making a TGC then you're one of those developers on my list.

EDIT: I also think names for any game should be marketable; if it's simple and generic then it's not going to stand out from the crowd. Intricate may be better. I honestly think having "Super" in it is a good idea.

Maybe have it be a physical board game involving these cards - although that's another thing everyone and their mother seems to be producing at the moment.
