What's the best board to post an engine under? Not really seeing much of an 'engine', 'tool', or 'other' category...

Also, for those of you who enjoy downloading shady files from the internet, have a proof of concept.
Notably it is highly unrecommended to do anything with this except perhaps play with it a bit. There's very little safety/polish/features at this point. I am not responsible if your machine explodes.

The editor requires .NET Framework 4.6, and is Windows-only. Scripts are precompiled to bytecode which mruby can execute at runtime (which is also Windows only for the moment). Obviously there's more to come. I'd post more details.... but I'm not sure where.

so sending a plaintext password from the client to the server via TCP is a bad idea, right?
whats an alternative for better security in transit?

would it be like exchanging a key beforehand and using that key as a seed for a function run on the password, which is then undone on the server before it gets hashed?
