So the Altima had a fucked up transmission and I exchanged it for a Sentra but I turned down the chance to get an impala and now I'm hating myself.

Well, the editor won't make heavy use of HWA as its not really needed. Runtime, however, totally.

Why would you turn down an impala!?

The stupidest reason ever and I don't wanna say it because it's dumb. It didn't have push to start.

Nice. I remember someone created RMXP database limit breaker script about 7 years ago. I exceeded 4800 battle animations a very long time ago.

My project would be impossible without that script.

Turns out the vanilla editor supports more if the data already somehow exists - and as long as you don't try to Change Maximum afterwards. So, I was able to natively support a higher number without losing vanilla XP interop support. Probably the basis for your script as well.

I might be a little late to the party, but I'm preparing a few monster treats. lol
 
i was following ARC engine for years while it was in development, but they got too ambitious and MV killed it

I love MV. But it's not XP- to me, it serves a rather different purpose.

XP and I have always had a special relationship - since VX showed up and flipped my mapping style on its head, things just haven't been the same. I would have gone a different direction with the evolution of RM, personally. Nothing wrong with VX/A or MV. Just a matter of preference.

But yes, 16:9 60fps are definitely going to be available features. (Maybe not on by default, for compatibility reasons. But not hard to do.)

Once the editor and runtime are up, I'll be adding a tweaked RGSS as well, in order to better capitalize on modern systems (i.e. variable framerate), and probably add some little things like an in-game settings/keybinding menu.

Abra ability 'synchronize' paralyzed Ekans.
Ekans ability 'shred skin' removed paralysis.
Abra is fully paralyzed...

I laughed for about 3 minutes. Epic ability fight. Ekans FTW.
