i figured the more straightforward deck would be the better one to start with

Finished 2nd out of 16 yesterday with my mono fire. Went 3-1. Made top 4. I beat the guy who i lost to earlyer and then got raped in the finals

Officially transferred ownership of some of my game properties to my studio, so expenses for the development of those are now on my company.

Still some blockers in the way of me ramping up development on my anime mobile RPG. I'm at that stage in game-dev tycoon (but real life) where you're doing external contract work to make money.

Can you 'fail badly' at something like that, as opposed to just failing?
I'm in the same boat at the moment too, though.

If anyone wants advice on how to make a successful game on the Android platform; localise it for the Chinese market.

Pretty much 80% of my Android middleware customers are from China.

I think it's the weather, but I've been extra moody lately. Like a lot of memories and emotions got stirred up.
I'm going in tomorrow to apply for a temp job. So that, plus the cooling weather, makes it feel like big change is around the corner. I think I'm associating it with the start of a new school year. A mix of vulnerability and dread, like I'm not prepared but I got to do it anyways.

Ah, I know what it is. It's reminding me of cross-country practice. That was something I didn't really want to do, but everyone else thought it would be good for me. I wasn't in it to compete and I didn't care about success. Everything about it was awful. Physically it was torture, but mentally too, I felt like everyone was judging me. I was the slowest, palest, gangliest guy on the team. It was a mistake and ruined my self-esteem.
So now it's like my unconscious is telling me this is unnecessary stress and it isn't worth doing. I'm not going to die, but it's going to feel like I'm dying.
