it's like 6 am and there's some god forsaken squeaking noise in my room and it's driving me slowly insane. i have no ceiling fan, it's nothing in my pc case, and my chair, desk, and monitors are all clear. it sounds like it's coming from the west wall of my house. like maybe an animal if it weren't occurring at such perfect intervals.

hey amy we might want to put a big sticky on the completed games forum to lay down some rules, cus the old rules (if i remember correctly, they did exist) are gone

these ads are starting to fill the place up and we should probably have some very specific rules to clear the area out a bit. stuff like screenshot requirement, amongst other things

in other news, i went to our city's anime & videogames convention and bought some final fantasy tcg cards. shit looks so nice, the cards feel so damn good
also it appears to be kinda like Duel Masters but with more rules and stuff, which is cool. DM was my fav when i was younger, i prefered the colours and simpler gameplay stuff over yu-gi-oh. it does kinda bug me how little the element type of each card in fftcg is pronounced though, kinda hard to tell what type something is on first glance compared to DM.

Most of them are bots anyways.
New rules arent going to stop spammers from posting.
Not only that, but the forum isnt active enough.
Im generally active enough to where i get to it within a 12 hour period, which is pretty good considering sometimes thats the only post within that time

PS: you dont have to report everything, i generally check every post. It takes me more time when i have to close a report first. We are not active enough to warrant that. But i appreciate you

Reporting threads helps me out as I'm usually very busy and only have a couple of minutes at a time to check the forums.

I seem to be forgetting to close the reports though. I will make note to get back into the habit of doing that.

I stopped deleting them initially because they just kept coming back and I thought it would curb them. But the latest one has no substance to it.

I may be getting a job with better hours so should be able to do more with this place. And perhaps get back k into ganmakibg again.

I'm thinking about buying my first car this week. Still have a large non-game related piece of work to complete (and get paid for, actually) and I've got some Unity tech that's selling, need to manage that. Then I'll perhaps get back k into ganmakibg again too.

what i meant was theres some games in the completed games section that probably shouldnt be there, but the only way you can really delete a thread flat out like that is if it breaks forum rules (but the rules for the completed games section are awol)

thing is i cant think of a rule some of them actually break, other than the fact they're being posted by someone advertising vs. the actual developers themselves (if that were to be a rule)
and i think the reason we need some rules is for the justification if a human advertiser's thread was deleted because obviously bots dont care

I tried soft deleting some screenshot threads that I added to projects. 'Cause it's all "Photobucket Disabled 3rd party hosting"
And since most of the download links are dead anyways, I don't see a point in reuploading screenshots to a different host so we can showcase a dead games.

Idk if I said this, but I did reupload my resources in the resource gallery. The thumbnails are saved on the site, but if you open the post, it's the same Photobucket message everywhere. Some are just plain gone because their photo accounts were inactive for too long and got deleted, if they used tinypic or some other host.

I vote for Monkey's Intelligence, because it's the only game that was actually developed here.
I did play Faith in Feathers, it wasn't very interesting.
I did not play "Where's my Internets?" because it's a commercial game.
Silent Memories is just a recreation of the Silent Hills ps4 demo.
I hadn't followed Chronicles of Tsufanubra to tell if it was actually complete recently, or if it was just updated. The project itself has been on RMN since 2012. I'm downloading it now to give it a look, anyways.
WarTools is also an updated/translation of a 2009 project.

Technically speaking, "Master of the Wind" has been updated too, just not here...

Yikes. Opened up Chronicles of Tsufanubra. It goes into fullscreen mode. Enterbrain splash screen. Then I'm back to my desktop and it's an avalanche of error messages like I just won a game of solitaire. Something "...not implemented" was all I caught from it.
Definitely no vote for me.

my friend and i both bought the starter kit + some boosters so we can play during our breaks at uni

but its gunna be rough getting new cards, being the cheapskate i am
also theres a lot of metagaming to catch up on, like builds etc that i really dont have the brainpower to invest in
