I just learned that silver vine is basically Japan/China's equivalent to catnip. It's a different plant, but it has the same effect.
I dunno how many rpgs I've played that had silver vine named items, like drops from a nekotama or a big cat monster or something. And all this time the reference has been going right over my head.

I dunno, I think that's a regional/cultural thing the localization teams should have changed. Then again, maybe I'm just ignorant and everyone but me knows what silver vine is.

It was only last week that I realised in Sonic, Tail's name of "Miles Prower" is a pun on "Miles Per Hour" - I got the miles part years back but the Prower -> per hour is what I only noticed last week.

There was a deer outside my window this morning before the sun was up - scared the crap out of me. I was looking at it straight on, not from the side, so I wasn't sure what I was looking at, at first. Gave me chills. Like a slenderman looking back at me. I only saw 2 skinny legs. And then it moved really fast in a non-human way.

Just found out I can put my ARM code into the 32KB high speed memory of the GBA, which has doubled the performance of all my GBA demos.

We just had a storm go by and everything looked yellow and orange in the sunset. I tried to take a picture of the clouds but found out my camera is color blind or something. Meh, you'd have to see it as a stereograph anyways get the same sense of depth of the white bits coming out of the dark grey bits.

everything was tinted yellow with the darker bits slightly green

and the lighter bits with sinking out of the dark grey mass like

Only 10x cooler and as a panoramic.
Oh and moving, of course.

And my computer screen seems brighter; the colors more vivid.
