I have visual confirmation that the mice are back.
I suspected the creaking in the ceiling might have been them and not just the wind. But I hadn't caught anything in the glue boards all winter, so for the first time in months put all the the ceiling tiles back in place.
Then tonight I heard it again. A back and forth creaking sound by the wall. Since I had the ladder nearby I lifted up a tile and spotted one running along the wall before it hoped over the top of the wall.

So I got another glue board up there and another one in the crawlspace. Still haven't figured out where they're coming in at.

Shit. Windows 10 broke. Can't startup. Can't enter safemode. Fuckkkkk

Edit: pressing f8 doesn't work. I had to interrupt the startup 3 times by holding the power button while on the windows logo screen, then it brought up different start up options.

Holding my breath. The startup repair failed but there's a restore point that looks like from before I updated. Restoring files now. Dunno how long this will take.

Phew. The start up repair didn't work. The Restore point didn't work. But the final option "Go Back to previous build" worked. I have windows 7 again. Not sure if everything is fully functional or not. The Custom keys for wifi, keyboard light ect...still don't work. I'm guessing I need to reinstall drivers or something. But I can live without them.
