I'm actually kind of liking the site as it is right now. People stop by to discuss and ask questions and chat.

I mean we're not as busy as back in, say, 2008, but it seems like people actually enjoy the forums now instead of just coming by to get resources.

Well, I'm doing my bit. I post more about the development of my game here than I do anywhere else. I feel like I should get a proper devlog or tweet more or something, but I feel a little weird posting WIPs on Twitter a lot when no one ever comments on them.

I wish I could do more. I can see myself doing more. In hindsight, I know could have done more.
But I'm so indecisive I can't do anything for myself. So maybe I couldn't after all.

If I could muster up the courage to leave my job I would be game making full time. I just don't want to scare my parents. They're disappointed enough in me.

Amy, how many hours a week are you working, and how much free time do you have? I want to make games full-time too, but since it's not financially viable right now, I just essentially work two full-time jobs. It's not a great situation, but it's not as bad as it sounds if you're passionate about it. Even 20 hours a week will get your game done in a fairly timely fashion.

I get the most hits when I use hashtags like #indiedev or #gamedev.

Also, around Saturday, post WIP screenies/art and use #screenshotsaturday. I get hits that way too!

I'll start doing screenshot Saturday once my UI and portraits are done, which will hopefully be soon!

Oh gosh oh gosh oh gosh.
I went to check the glueboard I put up in the ceiling and it wasn't there.
I found it on the floor with what looked like a patch of bloody fur. It's Free.
I checked the other glueboards and found another with a lot of fur in it and the corner ripped off. This isn't going to be pretty.

Obviously the glueboards weren't strong enough to hold it, and it's probably smart enough to avoid new ones. I'm going to have to bring the snap traps in.

3 snap traps baited with peanut butter. Plus the 5 glueboards scattered around. I'm bound to catch something.

Actually, I want a pet of EVERYTHING.

Rats, bunnies, kitties, guinea pigs, turtles, etc.

Pets are OK, but vermin isn't good unfortunately. Already found chewed wires all over the place (as well as the obvious droppings and such...)

Used to have a pet mouse but they don't live very long unfortunately. Mine was killed by lice. :sad:

I'll have Afar up eventually, honest.

I've actually thought of lots of ways to simplify the whole process, including using a lot of the backbone of Old Afar.

I just can't get myself to put it into code.

I despise rats. If I kept a pet indoors it'd probably be an iguana or some such reptile.

Also, gonna have Monster Hunter in approx. three hours if anyone wants to play. I'll get code posted soon as I have my DS handy.
