Why are British houses so small?

I'm repurposing a 12x15 shed to contain a kitchenette, office space, and full bed. Not easy to get what you need in those kinds of space without sacrifice.

I think this room is about 7 by 10 with a corner cut out for the boiler room. Largest room in the house, the smallest bedroom is 6 by 5 sand can't fit an adult bed.

I'm still looking for a job. I had a couple of things I could've gone into before Christmas (when I was still working at my old job), but nothing over the last couple of weeks. Ah well, got a lot of "shit went wrong" money to burn through before I need to worry :P

I have 20 credit hours in uni. (excessive, but a bunch are just paper writing classes, and I'll only have two classes left for my degree next semester!)

The desire to make games is pretty strong - I'm studying up on 3d game engine architecture, but only for fun, when I should be coding something for my resume like software and ui and stuff.

Sorry. After uni I'll be freer to be busy again.
