I've been reading all week. Stopping is like getting out of the swimming pool exposed to the cold air. All I want to do now is slip back into the warm water. But I have to find a different book, a different pool, and the water will be a different temperature so it won't be the same.
Walking feels like such a chore after floating in the water for so long. There's a tiny bit of shame being dripping wet as I get my towel to dry off. Feeling vulnerable since I'm not wearing my glasses and I'm only vaguely aware of the people and things around me. I had blocked everything else out of my mind, and now I have to collect my things and start adapting to an uncomfortable world out of the water.

I just got hired as a maintenance tech at a local factory after applying for a production temp position. I'm shocked that the interviewer remembered me mentioning it.

Now I have deal with the anxiety.

every time i attempt to download android studio, the download gets to 1gb / 1.1gb (about 45mins into the download) and drops to 0kb/s even though i can still access everything else fine.
my ping is also fine, its definitely not me.

ive tried it like 4 times now and thats wasted so much fucking time god damn it

I decided to play Final Fantasy Tactics: War of the Lions. I've spent the last three hours reading tutorials. I'm all up for complex gameplay, but it should be introduced to you slowly, not expected of you to learn before you even actually touch the game.

To be fair, it takes some leveling up before any of that becomes relevant. I never paid attention to Bravery and Faith.
It takes forever to accumulate JP to learn skills. There's some nuances I don't think they explain. Like Bows have a range bonus the higher up you are. And while arrows fly over objects, crossbows shoot through them, so really pay attention to the success % before confirming an action.

What I wish it told you was the all Job requirements. I mean, it's easy to go online now. But in 1997, not everyone had a computer, not to mention internet. I remember using my Dad's work computer and printing off a guide using an old slow, and loud, dot matrix printer.
