Master of the Wind

Master of the Wind (Complete!)

Is there a Zip Archive of the newest Arc I can download? Because I do not have WinRar on my computer. I suppose I could go download the trial, but I was just wondering if there was a zip download anywhere before I went and did that.

Alright. I suppose I'll go download Rar. Then I'll go play the game! =)

Just for the record, I'd like to tell you guys that Master of the Wind is the best game I've played here ever. The mapping might not always be as great as it is on some other projects, but it is decent, and the music, gameplay, storyline, and simple extreme fun factor more than make up for it. I love your dungeon layouts and the way the environment plays more interaction. Dungeons aren't like.. Point A to Point B with monsters thrown in. They're full of challenges that require reflexes. Of course, I'm sure you're very used to hearing all this =P

Looking forward to finding out what's happened since Arc III!

Woo! Over a 100,000 views! That's quite a lot. In honor of that I thought I'd give everyone a sneak peek of what will be appearing in arc V. Remember some of the material shown is still in the works.

Looks incredible, when can we expect Arc V to be out for?

Still not for a few months most like. Even though we have made a lot of progress there is still more to do and the testing phase always takes a few weeks as well.

Another few month? What am I supposed to do since then?I already bought Pokemon Dimond because I was bored

Congratulations on 100.000 Views. Take all time you need to create this game. I want it to be as good as the others were. Another few month will be a good price for such a great game.

The jumping system looks tricky. I hope you will think of people with bad reflexes.

In the fifth screenshot, the forest down at the cliff looks... Well weird. It is pretty the same tree, over and over again in the same pattern. I couldn't do it better, but maybe you could reconsider it, when you are polishing things one day (as you are doing with the first arcs right now )

Can't wait for this Arc. Finally I will find out if my Sparrow theory is right. (No, I won't tell, because it would only end up in some new Sparrow discussion)
Thank you for your great work.

Problem is, that the forest will have to loop in some way. It's harder to do this for a complicated forest.

Still... It could be a bit more detailed, couldn't it? Just saying...

You didn't do so bad yourself either. I really want to thank our fanbase. It wouldn't of been possible without them. You guys kick ass!

Congratulation! It is good to see, that games that are so great finally get a reward (It is only winning an award, but still...)
I was voting for your game btw.

I hope to see more of your work in the future.

Hey, great job on the game (I played Arc I, II, III but haven't got to IV yet because my new computer can't open stupid .rar files >.<) Is there anyway you can post it in .zip format?

I'm drawing my own battlers (and some other stuff) with pen/pencil and paper, and plan on scanning them. I am really talented with hand-drawn battlers and stuff, I'm also really good with graphics such as tilesets and icons 'n stuff. But on the other hand, I've never "painted" my hand-drawn battlers yet. I figured you guys are talented, this would be the best place to ask...

You think Enkur can teach me some secrets to creating battlers like you guys have? Does he just scan them in on a copier, or does he do it all strictly with a graphics program? I'm sorry but I've always been a big fan Shroud and Stoic. You should see if Enkur would be willing to give me some tips, because his artwork is exceptionally great!

Can't wait to try out Arc IV!! You guys kick major ass!!! (if I ever find something free to open this rar with.)

I like this game, but it's more of just cut-scenes if you ask me...

?! Huh? How far in are you? Wait, that doesn't matter. Right from the get-go, there's an almost perfect balance between gameplay, and cutscenes. Of course, it may very well seem as though there are too many to those who cannot appreciate the superb writing.

Or did you somehow reply here, instead of in the Quintessence topic?

Im not really that far yet...  I like Quintessence better.

I think they are equally good. Master of the wind has the better dungeons and gameplay.
Quintessence has a better story (my opinion)

I enjoy both to the max and eagerly await Arc V now.

Also if you aren't that far yet, play further, because it gets better and better.
