Master of the Wind

Master of the Wind (Complete!)

Mrrrr. How irritating this is!

I'm currently working through Arc III, and I've gotten into frozen volcano. I've just completed the puzzle in which you need to adjust the mirrors in order to light the torches with a summoned fireball. The puzzle that has me perplexed is at the bottom of the stairs that are revealed by the completion of the mirror-puzzle. There's a single teleporter mounted on a block of ice, and it can be pushed around. However, I have absolutely no idea what I'm supposed to be doing with it. Could somebody kindly enlighten me?

lol. Just started playing MOW, so im on arc 1, but in the gallian church where you have this room with six torches and bats flying above the torches, every time you light them, the bats put them out. You have one tall crate that blockst
the bats, and 2 short ones. The problem is, there is two rows of torches and one bucket. What do i do>?

Gratheo, thanks for your help with the volcano puzzle.

However, I'm stuck again, this time in Arc IV.

The prison tunnels this time! I've gotten as far as the room with the multicoloured barriers and switches with my trusty "homegrown" golem, but I can't get both of us to the next room at the same time. I'm aware of the little grate in the wall, and I'm betting that I have to get through the thing in order to get both the party and the golem into the next room, but I've no idea how to rid the grate of its bars.

Maybe try investigating the labs in the side rooms, you could find something interesting!

Do you mean those jail cells out in the main corridor from which unwanted random encounters pop, or the mass of cells in the room in which one finds the golem? Either way, all possible cells are locked, and that dratted slime thing is blocking a rather important-looking chest.

To spell it out,

Go to the right or left of the room. There is an exit to the left of the switch room where potions can be mixed, and to the right is the bomb upgrade.

Hey Volrath or Artbane. Is the enter name in message box script from Arc III with Gloria you used private or available for public use? If it is public, would you mind posting it?

Finished a blitz through the first four arcs yesterday, and I love them! I can't wait to see the rest... you've got a really awesome game here, and I love the puzzles in the dungeons. great character development, backstory... It definately deserved all the positive feedback, and the misaos. I found a bunch of spelling and simple grammar errors, though. If you'd like, I'll play back through and pm them to one of you.

Thanks jamreed. I'd really appreciate it if you'd do that.

I was having some trouble with getting it to work but I figured out was wrong, so I started playing Arc IV.

First I watched the "Secret Ending" for Arc III though. I noticed the Lilium song from Elfen Lied. Did either of you watch the series?

Hah, shame. I found the show to be amazing. The music was great too, like you said.

It'd pretty neat controlling that golem. When I first found it I thought I was about to fight it, then I started controlling it! =D

Having trouble finding the Bomb Recipe however. Those Walls-Of-Light are a nice touch by the way.

Edit: I just found that bomb recipe, It's a little hard to tell those things on the wall are other passageways, It's a bit late for t his now but maybe some way to distinguish? Time to open some grills!

Finley's dream was hilarious. =D

I ran out of "Juice" at the turn the sand to glass bit and I dont know how to reset the puzzle...?

I noticed you're using a lighting script too... it doesn't happen to be the script Near Fantastica made a while back is it? The one where you put in comments in an event, "Light", "Ground" and BAM you have a light effect?

I've been needing that script, its lost amongst the corruption of my old project :(

If you happen to have a link to it handy, that'd make me your #1 fan :P lol jk you guys still kick ass!

When you release Arc V, you should make two versions, an Arc V stand alone and a Arc I - Arc V super pack with Save files, so that you can either hit NEW GAME to start from the beginning of Arc I, or continue from Arc II, III, IV, V... that way people don't have to download different projects, but either way its all good... just don't exceed your storage limit like some of the best have done ;)

I think they're working on an arc I-IV pack, not I-V...

In the I-IV super pack, will you be able to explore more areas than in the standalone III and IV packs? Like going over to the Lamorack Mines with Laurel and Finely?

Just refill Auburn's mana and you'll be good to go.

If the script is still here you should be able to find it at the script listings here: http://www.rmxp.org/forums/index.php?topic=3353.0

The forum also has a handy search button.

I know I've been changing my tune about the next collection of games but this time I am pretty sure it is going to be a arc I-V collection with arc V coming out beforehand. Since all the musics will be there you could explore the old areas but I am still debating on how much additional content I'll be adding to them. I know fans seem to like re-treading old ground so perhaps there will be a few surprises. I am also working on ways to cut down the virtual fat on the game. If I can get the collection release to under 150 megs I'll be pleased.
