Master of the Wind

Master of the Wind (Complete!)

Ok the guide is finally finished! It's a rough draft (with out hp and monster pictures) but it's already 17 pages long ^^' Should I email it to one of you to edit the hp stuff? (it's on microsoft word)

I played the beginning and it was a near rough half-an-hour through dialogue alone.
But I have a problem or it's just my computer.
When you start playing Cade, I left the house and then the game froze for awhile and
said Script is Hanging.

Yeah your game is crazy! Those lancers in arc I are like owning me. But that's okay cause it's fun. My friend was watching me fight them and yeah, I let him try and he almost killed them. Or as he says, "I did Better than You did" so yeah. Just giving you praise for your game! Can't wait to get to arc II ^_^

I remember that battle. It gave me quite a headache too.
All you can do is level up right now. Best way to do so is to go up to the savepoint again and just run around and kill the random enemies. And everytime you seem to lose just save and heal yourself. That is how I did it.

just some ideas imo.

Shroud 2WW
Legendary Creature - Human Wizard
First Strike
1: The next time this turn a spell or ability targets Shroud, you may choose a new target for that spell or ability.
2/2

Stoic 4BR
Legendary Creature - Skeleton Knight
Haste, Double Strike
Pay 3 life: Regenerate Stoic.
6/2

The Baron 1UR
Legendary Creature - Human Warrior
R,T: Flip a coin. If heads, The Baron deals 3 damage to target creature or player.
1U: You may reflip the next coin that you flip this turn.
"Your aim's a bit off." / "Relax, I have plenty more bullets."
1/1

Laurel Hargrove 2W
Legendary Creature - Human Cleric
Your opponents play with their hands revealed.
T: Prevent the next 2 damage that would be dealt to target creature or player this turn.
1/2

Bubba 3RR
Legendary Creature - Kobold Warrior
Whenever Bubba becomes tapped, you may put an intoxication counter on it.
Remove three intoxication counters from Bubba: Bubba deals 5 damage to each creature other than itself.
5/5

I'm mad Arc 5 ended where it did.
Good show as always, Vol & Art.
Arc 6 is the final act? I thought there were going to be 7.

EDIT: Nevermind the last question. I read the previous page.

Here's your toe.

"As the fifth episode of the saga opens, our favorite group of comic heroes head for the Nuntak jungle, in chase of the McGuffin they found and lost countless times before: the evidence they need to expose Equipment King as trouble makers and finally shut them down."

Hmm...if that's the pattern, perhaps I should continue to delay the To Anywhere review and perhaps eventually we'll be able to stitch the MotW review together.

Nah, just kidding. I'll play it.

I'm stuck in Arc II.

I'm in the mole holes section. I've gotten into the outside of the church, and I have the tool steel, so everything's set up for me to make the key, EXCEPT I can not find the recipe. I've been crawling through the mole holes for nearly an hour... I must be stupid or something... I even tried writing it down to keep track, but I still somehow end up looping on myself. Doesn't help that while writing it down, I can't keep track of which room I've been in...

Hi Volrath and Artbane; I thought I'd stop by and say "hi" over here :)  I think it's amazing that you guys have been working together for so long, and that you've continued to make progress on your game throughout the years.  It's really inspiring to know that there are folks out there who have perservered for such a long time with their projects; so I wish you lots of luck in getting it all finished up!

Great game guys, kudos on using almost only the default battle system and still making the battles so addicting. I'm playing through Arc IV right now and am in the Abandoned Castle right now. I seem to be stuck at the Rope&Switch puzzle, as there is no way to reach the switches. I combed through the walkthrough and apparently, there should be ropes where there aren't any. Am I blind, have I missed something, or is this a bug:

And a few other things: I don't know why anyone found the Dican battle in Arc II so naggingly hard, I beat him without either Stoic or Shroud having been KO'd once. Also, the Ice Cave in Arc III(I think) had way harder random battles than the Necromancer's Hideout in Relennia (Arc IV).

That's a bug that will be corrected in the revamp of the first five arcs. Hoping to get it out soon so people that got derailed at that part can continue their game.

By the way, thanks miss matcha and crown of thorns for the kind words.

Currently playing my way through Arc V. It's great, just like the other four. Though I do have one slight problem, I tried to search through the topic for an answer, but I didn't find one.
I got the key, talked to Volrath in area B and lit the fireplace in area C, but I can't seem to figure out how to insert it through the fire. I believe I talked to everyone I could find. Any help?
