We're paying attention to it. The bigger news is the two trillion in equity that disappeared over the past two weeks since the debt ceiling debate and the s&p downgrade of the US govt. Markets calm today since geithner is meeting with the fed and everyone is expecting and waiting with baited breath for further quantitative easing. But we're familiar. Police shot someone who may be a darkie? so they are all angry at what is obviously racist police brutality and not the result of dangerous section of london being dangerous. The demonstration turned to natural looting. We saw some idiotic brats fulminate about how people are taking back the things denied to them by this oppressive capitalist society. The things being cool cell phone covers, video games, and large plasma screen tv's apparently. This seems to have become a kind of flash mob trend amongst copycat retards with access to cell phones and social media.
The people who were demonstrating though said they're not connected to any of the trouble nor did they desire for anything to happen other than their protest.

Instead of let's just make popcorn and watch how London is burning.
Certainly is, I think. Remember, IQ of the crowd is equal to IQ of most stupid man in crowd divided by number of peoples in that crowd (by Terry Prattchet). You can't argue with crowd. You can only use power against them.
Some water cannons + guns with rubber bullets (that are sometimes used to deal with footbal hooligans, at least in my country, Poland) = instant win, but you know, politics. I bet that some people would sue police (lol) for beign "racist" (some of rioters are black), lulz.

Well it wasn't like camden town was super safe before. It is a pretty blue collar neighborhood to begin with (Stayed at a hostel there for two weeks). There is only so much you can loot from a neighborhood. And Camden Town didn't have much to begin with. My bet is the looters will move on to better targets. I'm surprised they haven't tried hitting picadilly circus yet.
