Ohhhh I see it now, it is because when I made the Nebulae I forgot to blend to set one of the layers to dodge. >.< Fixed it now, (the nebulae pic not the space angel)

As for the newest girl, it's a shadow of a tree, she's laying on the grass, I plan to outline individual leaves when I finish her. I had hoped to first finish outlining parts of her dress and some other areas the other night, but got distracted.

Update! actually an old update, I had colored this a while ago. One of the first things I learned to color when I bought my copic markers a few months ago. There are some anatomy mistakes I know...but I like the feel of copic markers. I was cleaning and found it so I hope someone will enjoy it ^^

Hmmm...

Slight update in game art...re doing the characters in Paintshop pro as opposed to Copic markers. As much as I loooove the medium, my game style wouldn't be uniform. Unless its okay to combine two different mediums as long as it's done in the same style?

Yea , I know that my style isn't exactly everyone's cup of tea, so I understand why not everyone may want to comment. It's hard sometimes because a person may doubt their style or artwork. But if you keep trying and working on what you think is your weak points hopefully someone will come along an appreciate it. But if not, still its a trainning experience, you still have an oppurtunity to try and improve yourself, or at least try different styles or mediums. Or at least I keep telling myself that ^_~

Well I have to say I just looove<3 your artwork kiera!
I'm watching it for a while now and I'm really impressed by what you created!
One can clearly tell how you improved from you earlier works til now.
I personally like the hair in your piictures!:D It always looks awesome!:thumb:
My favoutite is "Lady Isolde", especially after you improved it!

You should not doubt your style, it's unique and even though not so many people leave comments many watch your artwork(as I did , because I thought it's a bit flat to just write "wow your artwork is really cool. keep it up!")
and recognize it and then sometimes one decides to drop a comment(like me)XD

Anyhow, I also wanted to say that you can combine different mediums but as you said it yourself, it'll always look a bit different and not 100percent uniform.
I prefer uniform styles but in the end it's up to you, beacause it's an issue of taste:yes:

-Thank you much! I've been taking peoples comments and I really apply them so I can improve. As I said in my first post I'm self taught, so I really appreciate people giving me C&C. I do enjoy learning how to better my drawings and because of people taking the time to help me out or just push me along, you can really see my drawings jumping from one level to the next.

-I'm still halfway deciding to go with the new style because I'm really liking how Paintshop pro makes it look. I might just use the copic markers for an art gallery or rare scenes.

Being inspired by Ynlraey's use of pen, I was reminded of the medium I started out with. Sometimes simple black and white can convey something that colors can't.

No outlining in pencils, you can probably spot some mistakes >.<
But I think she came out decent...

@CrazyMew; thanks for the compliment! You know how some artists can be, until I get better at anatomy and shading and perspectives, (well just about everything really) I rank myself at decent, not great, but not horrid either.

@djazler; I don't know either! I might ruin her >.<

@Avadan; why Tanks^^ I'd like to see some of your works myself. (if you don't mind) then perhaps we'll both want to go practice drawing more.

The flying orb seems like it's pulsating/vibrating in the coloured one, it's a cool effect!:yes:
I'm not an artist, so I'm probably not in the position to say it, but I want to add that you maybe should take a look at the white wave-things at the dress's bottom again. They seem still drafted...
Because they're not rounded completely and the curls are all different. I just wanted to mention it! I mean, I don't know if you intended to make it look like that. So as I said, just an advice...

Arigato for the compliment. ^^ As for the pattern, I'm not 100% sure, but I think things patterns on clothing change shape as the material billows or stretches. So I attempted at guestimating how It'd look blowing slightly or moving to the wind. Perhaps someone out there knows for certain and will direct me how to do that or if I'm even close to doing it right -_-;

Well, here's a slightly WIP for my game Aqua'os. I think I'll call it "Grooming of an Atlantian Princess" I hope to make the background more smother and add some more ornate jewelry. But first I want to try making water-like reflections, I'm having the hardest time doing it, so if anyone out there has a tip or two I'd appreciate it.

errr.....transparent sheets of sheer fabric, the same as the greenish yellow ones. Is there something you'd change to make it more along those lines?
