because i hate fan games and i know nintendo wouldn't sell the rights to a "potential" money maker otherwise i would have seriously taken a massive loan out and purchased the property.

Y'know, you can like... Just make the game and not charge money for it. People make freeware Nintendo games all the time and Nintendo doesn't give two shits so long as it doesn't have drugs, sex or rock & roll.

DSi exclusives is bullshit. I don't care about anything else, but that is absolute CRAP. Are there any DS lite exclusives? No. Damn money grabbin peoples.

I would agree that some of the features added to the DSi are pointless - e.g a motion sensor is probably better than a camera, but it could probably be used in the same way for a motion sensing game.

If CTDS is for the DSi I will be annoyed. D: But if the DSi actually does make it over to NZ before Christmas I'll probably get it just because my old DS looks like it's going to unhinge and is frankly too bulky. :[

Nintendo bringing out a DSi and not making DS compatible games any more is not bad... Compare it to the whole business of many other gaming corporations that produce their PC games to only work on on PC. It's annoying, it's stupid, and obviously the big companies have never heard that Windows has be wiped and reinstalled sometimes - thus making your precious Spore/Orange Box or whatever useless. (Okay that's a bit over emphasised but yeah).

Anyway if the DSi looks nice, I'd probably get it. I don't get console for their looks oh no, but if it's like the original DS I'll just get a Lite for Christmas. (Well maybe, I hope the price goes down so it doesn't seem like a complete waste.) There are no DSi games that interest me yet, so I'm not really all "DO WANT".

There that's my 2 cents or whatever I'll disappear from the forums for months again now.

I agree that Kid Icarus is only taking off because of SSBB. I didn't even know who he was until I got smash. (admittedly, I didn't know who Lucas was either :/)

In my opinion SSBB is half advertisement, half actual kick-ass game.
