I just finished this great game of yours. Fantastic Story although it was a very sad ending. i'd can't wait for the next game you make that continues where Under left off.

@ CoffeeMan. Thank you. Yes it was a dungeon crawl. That's why it was called Under. lol. This is why. The first part of the game, up until you fight Grim (The skeleton) was for "EIB"'s RTP challenge. There was no need to think outside the cave. As I continued the story in chapters it just made sense to continue it underground. My new project that is based off the world of Under, or a sequel if you will, will feature the entire world of A'ailogos.

I'm not going to tell how to get it. And some of you may never be able to get it. There are a few things you need to find in order to get it, and a certain score (Points) as well. Also, to make it more interesting, if anyone watches the download links, they change. Some downloads have the alternate ending possible to get, some don't. Just me having a little fun.

Theo states that as long as someone survives he will survive as well. So leaving the cave would ultimatly get him out of the cave. Which is what he wants. Why does Digit get out? You'll have to play my next project. But because he's not human COULD be the reason. Or maybe not.

Okay, I don't know if I'm stupid or blind or what, but I can't get past the first puzzle. Supposedly you're supposed to move the big boxes on the floor on a dark spot or something and then you can walk over the holes on the next level, but no matter where I move them, I can't walk across the holes. Maybe it's a glitch because I saved it in this area...
I dunno, it worked for me, if it's not workin for you I don't know what the problem could be.@ Immunityengine.

Personally I'm not really a fan of games that contain only one, big dungeon. However, I must admit that this game is one of the best rtp-games.
One question:
Where does this game end? I have the older version which has chapters 1-4.
I downloaded the new one, and tried to copy my save into it, but the game ends as in the older one.

You may have a version that had a error in it. One of the early version with chapters 1-4 for some reason or another won't take on the new chapter. If you have more then one save you can try an earlier save point. If not, I can send you a save game so you can play the final chapter.

Ya. Filefront has been unreliable lately. I had to try 3 times before I could download.
I just finished the game but could not find the secret ending. You are a harsh guy The Man, not the ending I expected at all. It was good but sad.
Overall I think this is a great game and I'm glad to have played it. Thanks for the credit by the way. I'm going to try and go through it again slowly to see about the alternate end, but i'll take my time.

Well I just finished it, and it was a blast. Setting the whole thing in one dungeon really adds something....it's hard to explain, but the time flies by...I guess cause it always feels like you haven't done that much, even though you clearly have. A ton of puzzles that were mostly fun, if random at times, and possibly the most fun button mashing battles I've ever experienced. Seeing those numbers pile on to enemies so quickly is so aesthetically pleasing I didn't even care that the fights were so easy.
I do have to echo some comments and ArtBane's RRRB review when I comment that the ending was fairly unsatisfying. There was high drama and darkness inherent in the finale, and it seemed like the potential emotional impact was lost. I think the pacing was too fast in those sequences. I've heard of some alternate ending which is apparently really difficult to get. Though if I'm to believe your post where you said I'm not even guaranteed to have the CAPACITY to get the alt ending....that makes me not want to try at all. :-/
Anyway, really awesome stuff. I had a great time. I'll definitely check out The Black Effect.

Thank you. Compliments coming from both you and Artbane are really great to have for a first project. I have not made a secret that the end was really rushed, but Under was never meant to be a full game, only a contest entry. I guess I could say Under was based on the idea I had for the Black Effect.

If your in the area I think you should have picked up a pot when you first went in the P.O.T. {Place of trials}. Now, in the bottom right room you should see a different colored floor tile in the bottom right. Use the pot there and both gates will open up.
