You should have made it so monsters drop 0G, in my opinion, and made you fund yourself off monster drops like that. It seems logical, you know? But oh well, so many games' monsters, including my own, drop money for some random reason, so it's not like anyone really notices.

Maybe they just like shiny things. :P

Well even after I scrapped the armor crafting system, I had it so the only way to make money was from the spoils.  But I decided I didn't want people having to grind and worry about money, so I just made them drop money too.  I really wanted people to just be able to go right through my game, yet still give it a challenge.  I really just wanted to tell a story...and the RPG part of it is just extra ^_^.

Do you still plan on a sequel to this? If so, could I get a little more info about it without you spoiling the plot?

Err... I seem to have a problem... Whenever I start it up... at the main menu there are no words just 3 blank spaces where I guess

New Game
Load
Exit

Are supposed to be.... when I press Enter on the start one the music changed and all there is... a black screen nothing happend for about 5 minutes.... any way to fix this so I can play?

You probably don't have the font installed. Find it in the game folder and move it to the folder C://Windows/Fonts

Yeah... ive looked in the RPGXP folder and the Lucid awakening folder and I see nothing that has to do with font and I checked everything I can open >.< im not the brightest when it comes to this stuff...

Mind err... showing me somehow >.<? or telling me what its called >.<?

You'll need to install this font in the windows font folder:
FONT

Blarg >.< that didnt seem to work..... saved it into the fonts and started it up again.. .still nothing

You do realize that only copying and pasting it alone won't work. To add a new font, go to Control Box, Fonts, under File, click add, go to the folder that contains the font in the little search popup window, look at the list, and where it shows the name of the font select it and click "Add". Or something like that. I have a Windows 2000 though (shame on me) and while I've often used XP's, the process might be different. Hope I made sense there.

You don't save the font in it, you have to move it (click and drag, then release in the folder). It'll prompt you with a little "Installing" box if you've done it correctly.

Anyway, enough of this font stuff. If you have any more problems, Heroshi, create a new topic in General Support or PM someone.

Yeah, download the font file from the first post.
Find the "Fonts" folder (should be in C:\WINDOWS).
Drag the font file you downloaded into the actual Fonts folder.

Make sure you didn't rename it or anything, just keep it the same name it was when you downloaded it.  Also just restart your computer or something if it still doesn't work.  And if it STILL doesn't work, then either you're doing something wrong or something's wrong with your computer.


@KingRed: Hmm...I suppose I could PM you some details of the plot I had in mind if you really want to ^_^.  The thing is that it would have spoilers from LA1, so I want to wait until you beat it.  Just PM me when you beat it and I'll send you some LA2 details ^_^

I just finished it. Thought i'd let you know there's a bug in the credits. If you press the action key, the screen goes black and... nothing happens, forever. Hope I didn't miss anything important.
