School started today, I'm swamped with shit to do people. Seriously. The only time I can work on Outbreak/Flower is during the weekends now, so no more wasting 10+ hours a day on irc :x
But yeah, during the school days (M-F), expect nothing.

Its excellent, but a little repetitive, especially when trying to feed flowers. It might help to have an option to, when pollinating flowers, to let the user adjust how much pollen is used. That way, the game doesn't become a button masher every time it rains.
Also, although you can save in the main over-universe map, you can't save while actually playing a map. and because it certainly takes a while to start raiseing a kid, and making a huge fuckup like letting the kid die sucks, and then having to start all over because there was no save function in the first place sucks... yeah. That resulted in a good 15 minutes wasted. Other then that, not much more I can say.

Also, post a link of the worm demo, necrile.

Edit, also, if you include a script that makes the overworld map scrolling so that when you reach the top of the overworld, you go down. that would be rad.
Also, maybe making the maps a bit bigger so that they don't cut off tree tops or such would be awesome.

That new manual is definitely pretty awesome, although I think the top can use some work. Gradients are nice, but don't over-do them. And I'd recomend working with the transparency on the RPG maker image, but other then that its an excellent cover.

Oh, and thanks for Posting the Atari Worm, man! Its primarily a v.08, but Its open for beta for whoever wants to give it a try.

[shamelessplug]In order to get you guys posting, I have decided to do a little promotional. The top three posters in between version releases get their name as a default name of one of the humans in one of the gardens. (This round will be in Skullbane desert). Wanna be famous? Well, after all the riveting posts you guys left, it has made me work three times faster than that of my normal pace. Due to this encouragement, my fast working has given my the great pleasure of announcing that v0.6 will be made public on Wednesday, April 1, 2009. (No, it's not an April Fools' joke, its actually coming out in full quality on that day). Not like it matters, however, I could post hardcore porno in here and still get no responses. Cheers!

Not so sure how well that would fly with the mods. Regardless, I hope people are psyched for v0.6's release. It makes the game much more playable than v0.5 was, and me and daft have been working hard on it. Cheers!
 
Flower released in 2 hours, just beta testing Landslide, and finishing up minuted details. This patch will make the game oh so much better, and completely reworked. But I beg of you, play, relax and enjoy, but once you are done with that, please comment sirs. I put much of my life into this game everyday, and it is all worth it to see discussion of it in the forum. Just remember: a new patch from me, 30+ hours, a new comment from you, 40 seconds.

-Game is now more user friendly.
 
Played the latest demo... Not much changed, and I think the gameplay gets boring 10 minutes in. More interaction with the world would definitely help. But really, it's too much like the other Flower versions so not much to say.
 
...?! Are you serious? I think I need to make it clearer what the point of the game is. Tell me muk, how many dungeons did you beat?
