Final Fantasy VI SDK - Going Social!

I tried copying some scripts to a different game, and the font appeared! I discovered it also does this to me with other scripts, too...

I did a couple of things with the battle system but nothing very exciting, for now. ;)
I'll try to make a new demo during the next weeks if I have enough new stuff to show.

Take care!

Hey man, hope all is still okay with this project?(Just wondering because there havent been anymore posts) if you need any help just let me know, your doing a fab job low

Everything is Ok. I'm just busy with some VX scripts. I'm also helping vgvgf with the RPG Advanced Editor.

I'll update the thread soon. :thumb:

Take care!

I don't know if you still need help on SFX, but I'd like to help. I'm very good at ripping SFX, actully I don't think I'm very good at ripping sprites, though. And, I don't think I'll be able to use this for at least a long while, but I just like helping people.

Geez, it's been a while since I updated this thread.

To answer a couple of PMs I have received: No, this project is NOT dead and it will NEVER be!
At this moment, I'm ripping, ripping and ripping. I won't post another demo until I have a good looking result. But, thanks to Celes_cole and many others, the FFVI SDK RTP is going to be great!

I had to rewrite the whole battle system because of incompatibilities with RGSS2 but now, everything is piecing up together and works great.
Other than that, I'm currently working with vgvgf and Kratos (a member from another community) on the RPG Advanced Editor. If everything goes right, I will probably be able to make a professional looking editor for the FFVI SDK and it will be added as one of the default SDK for the with the RPGAE.

I guess that's all for now!

Take care!

Don't worry about the ones you told me to rip. I'll rip them. I'm just kind of dead right now.

Hey man. Really looking forward to the next demo. Ive been looking at how you have done the scripting it really good. I had a question though. The message windows and map name window opens (as in starts small and gets bigger) as opposed to the fade in effect XP usually uses. Im gonna guess this is a function of the RGSS2 player. Do you know if there is a way to make this feature in XP wihout the rgss2 player? cheers

Oh yeah and i was having a look around to see if the FF6 airship would be possible on XP. I found a script on this site called...
New Mode7 script / Neo Mode 7 script
have a look i think it can be adapted to do what is needed. Its a really good script

I already have it, it's made by a member of this forum, MGCaladtogel.
I'll probably be using it, he did quite an impressive job. But I will have to bring some corrections to both the SDK and his script in order to make both system compatible.

About the 'openness' feature, I have deleted hat I did but it's not really hard to do. I can do another one.
