Final Fantasy VI SDK - Going Social!

I Have the new faces but they'll need to be resized.

The character classes seems to be like in the old japanese version. Take a look at the changes here, under Character Classes.

I really have to take a look at the GBA version! :p

Have any other ways to download?

because i lived in Asia.
I can't use megaupload.
It want me to download its toolbar before download your files.

The ultimate question! :p
No, I don't have any mode7 engine right now. I'll have to learn how it works more precisely and I'll also have to ask other programmers for help.
But with the new 3D raycast Engine, I'm pretty sure it can be implemented without to much lag... I guess...

Indeed. There's also a french Mode7 script but those 2 scripts didn't support map rotation or any SNES or GBA mode7 features. They are really nice though. I admire those 2 programmers for doing this. The problem is that Mewsterus' script is slow, slower than the french script. The french script also supports animated autotiles, Mode07 does not.

There's a lot of problems regarding Mode7 on RMXP.

Well, in fact, if there's no better Mode7 script, then there's no problem. I'll just leave it behind and release the SDK without Mode7.

But, I'm planning to make my own Mode7 engine. Yes it's an ambitious project and I will not say that I will be able to make a better script than Mewsterus' Mode07.

So far, I'm able to rotate a standard(flat) map! Thanks to Seph's Tilemap class.

Well, I decided to play through the old SNES version again, and I noticed a few things...

SNES Version
Tonic - Restores 50 HP
Potion - Restores 250 HP
Tincture - Restores 50 MP

Gameboy Advance Version
Potion - Restores 50 HP
Hi-Potion - Restores 250 HP
Ether - Restores 50 MP

Hmm that's interesting. I hope someone will release an algorithm for the GBA version. They have fixed some weird bugs such as the famous Evade bug, Rippler bug or Psycho Cyan! This one's a nice bug though. XD
So the algorithm must have change too...

Thanks a lot for all this information Giarc Maj, I realy appreciate!

Yes, you're right. I'm actually playing it and the guards are dealing the exact same damage as on SNES. It also seems that they are using a good part of the original japanese names!^_^

Actually, FFIIIUS Tonic is equivalent to FFVI Potion.(And same to Tincture/Ether)
