Ah, been a while. So, turns out I changed my mind bout posting those animations. Hehe. Instead, I decided to post a few artworks of the characters in the project. They're kinda messy though. I didn't adjust the levels properly. So, you can kinda see some smudges and junk. Sorry bout that ^_^.

Anywayz~ I'm in da middle of my final exams right now. And I've been dry on enthusiasm and ideas lately. Yea, yea, I know, shame on me. But, I've come up with a few new ideas for my game. Namely, in the battle section. Nuthin much, just a few additions to the skills.

So, game-maker's log:
- Replacing "Accessories" with "Crests".
- Trying to work on the "Atmosphere Reformation" battle skill.

"Crests" are what I implemented in my comic a few years back. They grant skills to who equips em. Since the comic and this project are related, I decided to implement em in the project. (I couldn't get the idea for a "Soul Affix" system to work, so I decided on a much more simpler one).

Basically, crests can level up. Higher levels will grant you the "Atmosphere Reformation" ability (Which changes battle BG, and grants a few status advantages). Simple, no?

Oh, tell me what you guys think about the artworks too~.
 
You have developed a nice drawing style, very dinamic.... me like it!
But you should work more on the coloring... maybe adding more contrast.... but thats just me.
Looking forward for more updates
 
@Aran; yeah, i edit the levels in photoshop. I pretty much do all my graphics with it. Only, this time I did em in so roughly I even forgot to check for smudges.

That's exactly what I was thinkin... I like your artwork that you've put into the game... congradulations... still waiting on the finished product...

Oh, guess what~? I found my old book where I draw, write, sketch all my ideas for the game. So, I decided to post some of its contents.

Oh, and it seems my first post is getting a bit overcrowded with stuff. Hence, I took the liberty of placing all the sketches, artworks and designs into one spoiler-tag-thingy. It's located at the bottom of the first post.

I guess I'll have to re-"design" the first post due to the overcrowding. Meh, I'll figure something out. Later guys. Tell me what you think about the new stuff. Oh, quality might be on the unsatisfactory side. Sorry bout that -_-.

Great to see this is still in the works, This game has always looked good to me and I'll await for this for any release to come.
 
I'm glad you're interested in beta-testing the project, angel. But, Exorsus isn't completed enough to be tested yet and I'm not sure when exactly it will be. I'll be sure to announce when the project reaches a point to be tested. Just keep in mind that I'm a lazy bastard, so, it won't be anytime soon ^_^.
 
Okay~! Been a while since this project had an update, eh? Yea well, repeating my chemistry paper is seriously draining my enthusiasm for pretty much everything else. So, my poor project got shoved aside for quite some time...so sad.

At any rate, a few days ago, I got hit with a motherload of inspiration [/exaggeration] and came up with a few new ideas for the project. Namely, for the demo's ending credits. That's right, I finally decided on when/where to finish the current demo (although, it won't be published anytime time soon. Haha...sorry bout that).

Since some of the features mentioned are not going to be included in the demo (Ex: the still incomplete rune synth system), I can drop them for a while and focus on the demo itself (is it just me, or is the word "demo" being thrown all over the place here...). This would also narrow down my habit of being mr.perfectionist. Haha...

Game-maker's Log:

- Believe it or not, another update in the message system. Minor update, that is. I've added a "name box" in the system. Kinda makes the messages more neat (as in clean and orderly[/nerd]). Currently debating wether or not to modify the color of the box/names themselves...

- A new screenie of the updated message system has been added. Check it~!

P/S: Currently workin on a new image for the first thread. Hoping to get it done by the end of the week. But, y'know, lazy-bastard habits n all.
 
Okay~ I've modified the first post. All new theme. Although, it still doesn't look quite right...hmm...

At any rate, I've added a new section; "Groups/Organizations". It gives a gisted explanation on the groups (duh~) that are involved in the game. Spoiler alert~! It's in the tag at the bottom of the post. Oh, no new screenies yet.

Tell me what u guys think about the new look ^_^. Laterz~
 
This looks so professional, good luck on this game. And yes, I'm the one who keeps making fun of this project based on the line "My Soul is Crying".
