- Thought of making a "Duel View-point" system to replace the "Dynamic Side-view". Which MAY lead to me making a duel system...should I be able to be rid of the chronic lazyness. Haha~

Haha~ somethin funny happened; I ended up presenting my game to during Computer Science class. Didn't have anythin to present... Turned out pretty well...i think...Maybe I'll post the video of that presentation sometime. hehe

Can't type much. Got chemistry class in 5 minutes. I'll add more updates when I get the time. Ja matta~!
 
Not really, "Duel", as in "1 on 1". A side view of 2 (or more) characters (not the sprites). Kinda like a versus game's view point. Still have problems with the project's file size issue, though.
 
Ah~ it's kind of a good thing that I didn't update much in the last few months due to studies. Not much of a loss. Lucky~! Hehe.

Anyway~! Cleaned up the first post a bit. Haven't modified the information yet tho. Tell me what you think of it? I may make a few more changes later on.

Game maker's log;
- Fixed/modified the mappings again. Decided to modify the forest tilesets. I'll probably post a screenshot sometime at the end of the day.
- Modified more battle animations, especially the "Encounter animation" (i.e, animation that takes place when you encounter an enemy).

Well, I do love your presentation, very clean, and pro.
The artwork is fantastic, one of the best 'round here.
I really like what you're thinking on implementing in game, powerful features that if finished will make your game shine! xD

- Created a new sprite for the "Healing Fountain"...which should be called "Healing Statue"..or something, by now...

This looks like the best and most original game i have ever seen, perhaps even outside of rmxp. This makes even master of the wind look like crup. Keep it up!

@Granas: I wouldn't say that, considerin MoTW seems to gain more feedback and fans. But, I'm flattered that my humble project be put into comparison with it ^_^. Thanx~

- Modifying the world map design.
- Trying my luck at spriting a monster. Maybe I'll post an image of it sometime.

Thinking of posting the draft/sketch/layout of one of the 60-mapped dungeons. Still in its developmental stages tho (Meh~...I'm a lazy bastard... XD).

That's right. Don't make me sick powerdude on you!

Your game certainly has some interesting features. Dungeons that span sixty maps! That certainly would intimidate even me. Just remember that bigger dungeons don't necessarily mean better dungeons. Anyway I hope to see this materialize into a demo sometime soon since it certainly sounds interesting.
 
In my defence, you don't deviate from the rtp and default scripts that much, cept the battlers and some key sprites. His just makes you forget that you're playing an rmxp game, from th screens anyway

Uhh...hope this thread doesn't turn into some sort of battlefield for MoTW fans to emotionally scar me... or sumthin.... >_>;;... ...

@Powerdude: Gud 2 hear. Wouldn't wanna steal Volrath's fans. haha.

@Artbane: I completely agree with you. The map-size feature might even end up being a draw back instead of making the gameplay more interesting. I'll try my best not to screw it up ^_^.
 
^^I must say that this is the game that I realy want to see finish, it looks very interesting, this doesnt look like a Noob game(Like mine :p), Keep going.

You should've seen it a couple of years back. Absolutely Noobalicious. I'm just learning as I go. Improving things one by one. Still can't improve the tidiness of the database tho. Damn messy. Haha.
 
Huh, I wonder how I missed this project...then again I've been gone for a while.

IT seems rather bold, but promising (In the current features, and what you're working on)...one question though..

The Wandering Spirits business...do you actually see them to avoid them, or is it a mixture between Random encounter of they 'attack' you, but you're given a window of time to either avoid or fight them? I'd love some more clarity on that.
