Ok, i've got... a few questions...

Where do you go to school?
What's your major?
What OTHER (non-RMXP) programs/software are you using?
Is this project the result of a TEAM effort???

Other than that, this still remains spectacular.
That is all. =p

University of Technology Mara (UiTM) Malaysia
Diploma in Microbiology
Photoshop CS, Audacity, Adobe Audition
It's a one-man team. Lol.

Thanks Aran~. ^_^

No prob, dude. Even more kudos to you for doing it all alone, too!

EDIT:
Also, I was playing the demo and when I got to the battle evaluation part, where you had to make a..... left I believe, I turned back and walked past the guard and tried to leave, but when I got to the door I got an error saying that some audio file was missing. I didn't get to save -_-

Strange. There aren't supposed to be any changes to the audio in that area. I'll check it out again later.

You didn't save? O wow, that's gotta hurt. I'll have to add an option to skip the intro scene in the next release, or sumthin.

Thanks for the input, Aran.

I'll probably take down the current downloadable file after a few days (or weeks). Seeing as how there's a buttload of bugs that needs fixing (and lack of response in the thread. lol). Depends on how the progress on the next release goes.

- Working on the plans for another puzzle. Schematics done. Eventing and graphics in progress.
- Working on the new opening scene.

Ahoy! I've been slacking off lately. Been keeping myself preoccupied with blogging and watching youtube vids. Lol. And thanks to that, Exorsus got neglected.

- Redesigning the Myriad Gauge. The new version is more sleek(?) and compact. Still working on the finishing touches though. And thanks to this update, I'll have to do some major editing to the Myriad Gauge's event-scripts.
- Added a new screenshot showing the new and improved Myriad Gauge (ver.3)
- About 1/3 of the new opening scene is completed. So far, new voiced opening, and new music have been successfully edited. The actual scenes are still a bit sketchy.

I'd greatly appreciate comments / critiques regarding the new gauge. Or, y'know, leave this thread to rot in the back of the pages. Whichever works. Lol. Thanks guys. ^_^

Oh, and I'm working on a new theme for the first post. But I keep hitting a few bumps here and there. It's annoying, really. But I'm hoping to get it done soon. (And by soon, i mean...mebbe by next month XD).

O gawd, been 3 months since I updated.

And 3 months since I even opened my project file. *gasps*

And in 3 months, no replies. *not so gasps*

Ah well, done with my industrial training. And now dad's making me work at his office, doing AutoCad. Wtf Microbiologist doing AutoCad. Sounds like something out of a movie plot thing.

Out of sheer boredom, it occurred to me that Exorsus was starting to rot. So, I figured I should work on it a little bit. Emphasis on "little".

- Edited some scenes.
- Edited some Animations for events.
- Working on that last puzzle. lol. But seriously, so many images to make.... >_>. The things I do to please you people.

Sorry guys, no screenies.

Could be. Wine maker xp. Now that's a profitable software. Lol.

Sadly, I've put too much time and effort on Exorsus to be ditching it. Omigosh I've been working on it since 2004/2005. And still no full release. ^_^;;.

Finished the new opening scene.
- Approximately 2:05 minutes long. That last opening scene was dead long...Lol.

Changed the map introduction event.
- Simple, clean, and parallel (i.e. now you can move while the map intro is still animating instead of having to wait for it to finish).

Edited Wandering Soul (Enemy Sprites) behavior.
- Enemies will now only charge at you when you're within they're (preset) range.

I've been working on checking / fixing the dialogues, missing files, and mapping errors in the project. But I get a little overwhelmed by all the stuff that needs to be done. Especially when there's a lot of other features that needs work, like the graphics for the puzzles, for example.

So, I've been thinking of asking some of you guys to sort of "beta-test" the project. Maybe help fix the "amateurish" dialogues and passability errors, among other things. But I'm not sure if that's necessary. :s

Let me know if any of you are interested.

Posted a video of the project.

Link can be found at the bottom of the first post.

Feedback will be greatly appreciated.

Gotta say i love the look of this project, the video is aw inspiring. One problem at the moment is that the download link is broken. I sugest you use Mediafire to upload the project as they dont delete the file aftetr a inactivity period.

other than that looking good, keep up the great work.

Very cool and exciting! But you should upload the fiule again WITH the missing SE and Sounds, I don't think many people may want to download them to and put the effort to put them in folders xD Some may not even know how to do!

Also you should put a direct link to all screenshots so people don't need to click on each link to see them!

great work :) glad to know that someone's putting alot of effort into something.
However, somewhat worried anyway. It'll be all work for nothing once someone decrypts this and posts all the unique content all over the net. I recommend you getting a great anti-decryption script or something, if possible.

Awesome Bro

This has been bumped a few times but whatever, can't believe I never saw this thread before o.O

Has he released this game fully, or is it just a demo? Because from the look of the thread it's only the demo, yet it's in completed games? o.O

I'd actually like to play this...

FUCK!!! A dungeon including 60 Maps?!?!? Why the hell don't you just make a 500x500 Map or some if you wanna create THAT big dungeons. People won't play trough a dungeron of 60 maps unless it's VERY exciting or small (20x20) maps!!

Now to the other! Looks great! And a hand drawn map is very good. Could you tell how your gauge works more?
