Dreams

Some dreams I'm more aware of the double entendre or transpositioning seeding the content of the dream than the actually dream itself. Sometimes it's just pure correspondence and there's not a narrative or flow of events that I could relate. There's nothing to take away, so it's easily forgotten as soon I a start my day.

For example last night I binged watched Young Justice before I went to sleep so an impression of the characters were in my mind. That impression was then filled in, or overlapped, with other thoughts. So I'd say I was dreaming about Young Justice. But I could also say I was dreaming about a weekend at my grandparents. There's zero symmetry between them, so I could also say I wasn't dreaming at all. I'm just aware of those 2 thoughts as I was waking up.

For the past week I haven't gotten any deep restful sleep and my circadian rhythm was all messed up. I was a zombie and was only getting 3-5 hours of sleep at time. Just enough to function but I was always looking forward to crawling back into bed and felt guilty how good sleep felt.

So last night I got 12 hours of uninterrupted sleep. I guess that's what they call sleep debt.
I dreamt something about youtubers going on killing sprees and then someone gave me a severed head and I was like "I've always wanted one of these! But I don't know where to put it." So I put it in the bathroom sink and talked to it like a pet cat. "Ooh, I'm going to wash and brush your hair"
I woke up feeling really disturbed. But it's because I kicked off all the blankets and I was freezing. I always have grisly dreams when I'm cold.

Maybe it's because I was hungry yesterday but didn't eat anything because nothing was appealing.
But last night I had a dream I was eating orange peels and cocoa mix powdered. I vividly recall savoring the texture. The soft bite of the skin and the grit of the dry powder between my teeth.

Chocolate oranges are a thing. Maybe you should try eating some orange peels and cocoa mix and see how it turns out.
This is an objectively terrible idea. Cocoa powder tastes nothing like chocolate any way. (Speaking from my childhood experience of shoving a crap ton of it in my mouth then being like "OH GAWD THIS TASTES AWFUL WTF??"

Just get some Jaffa cakes or something less ... raw, to put it mildly. Jaffa is chocolate-orange flavour and I PERSONALLY LOVE IT.

As for dreams, when I was in a sort of limbo between dreaming but still being somewhat awake, I'd just hours ago watched a shit ton of movie trailers at the cinema prior to watching detective pikachu, and I had all these dreams of how my games would look if rendered into blockbuster-level high budget movies.

Had a lot of funny comedic scenes as well. Like Tristy falling through Lazarus as he is ethereal and she just sorta falls though him and he shrugs nonchalantly while playfully acting like he can catch her.

Or Koko having one of her breakdowns and losing her shit during the Daddy issues phase of her life and Lilac shooshpapping her to calm the fuck down.

Ofcourse there were more epic scenes as well, like Yi doing the terminator eye gleam as the background faded out to black around her, or the free-falling part of intelligence where rolly pep and Tristy descend down into the city below from a skyrail.

So that was a nice dream before going to sleep for 10 hours where no dreams were vivid enough for me to remember.

You are a fool. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Terry%27s ... ate_Orange this is one of the most popular chocolate products in the UK, I don't know a single person who doesn't love this chocolate.

It tastes very different to the orange flavour you're imagining due to the milk chocolate. Cocoa in general mixes well with a lot of stuff that is a million miles away from regular cocoa flavour. Chilli, strawberry, cherry, mint are examples of other flavours that can be found mixed with chocolate.

EDIT: Actually on second thought, you're not going to get the Terry's flavour eating orange peel/zest with cocoa. Buy Jaffa Cakes or Terry's Chocolate Orange, far less work required in getting the orange:cocoa flavour balanced.

I literally said get Jaffa cakes or something that isn't straight cocoa powder and orange peels. Dude Choc-orange is one of my favourite flavors, just not when my means for making it is orange peels and cocoa powder (which as I clarified, tastes nothing like chocolate due to it being so raw and not having any sugar added.)

You may as well eat straight coffee powder with curds and call it a cuppacino, lmao.

Coyote I hate to break this to you but you might be pregnant;
Pregnancy isn't a requirement to dream of eating unconscionably stupid things.

It certainly helps, though.

When my mother had me she ate celery like a horse because her body told her to, must be something in celery that her body knew she needed.

I had a dream I went to a library and just walked around looking at all these unfamiliar kids books. And then people were setting up tables and chairs like there was a dinner, maybe a wedding reception? But it was just trays of cookies. Then we started forming lines to get food where I met my mom who started talking to me. But I was like "Shhhh". And she's like, "What's wrong?"
and I'm like, "I can't turn around." and she's like "Why not?" and I said "Cause I was in a library, but now I'm here" Then it was like I couldn't move my eyes to see her react. But I refused to shut them, so I was looking passed her and I was standing uncomfortably still. "But I didn't go through a door"
And then I woke up because I realized I was dreaming. But it's weird how the dream shut me down like that, it wasn't going to let me see a contradiction.

I don't seem to have long dreams that I remember much anymore, but the mini-dreams before I properly wake up are to die for because they seem better weaved to what I like. Basically this one I just woke up from was set in a typical american school cafeteria, where people are getting not horrible food that could give them cancer by some happenstance, and after a sharing of food between a couple of friends is demonstrated, some guy asks best girl (Patchouli from touhou) fairly nicely if he could have some little pieces of beef, everything was bite size for some reason. Patchouli responds by picking up her in-hand fork, vaguely pointing it in his direction and threatening that "If you want a fork through your heart, go right ahead." before going back to eating. The guy is taken aback and as he's walking away he says "alright keep your food geez I'll ask someone else" to which Patchouli replies under her breath but likely purposefully loud enough for him to here "Yeah, that's right little pig." and then he gets all in her face, towering over her, he's a big guy who uses intimidation and his size to win his battles, and yells that "WHHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE!?" and she just calmly keeps eating while getting out "Much quieter and reserved than you" before pulling out a napkin to wipe the few minor stains on her face and returning her gaze to him "but I can make you a lot more things that I am not if you want to take us there." His friends pull him back, saying stuff like "it's not worth it dude" he ends up in the principal's office who is dr briefs for some reason, this is where it gets really interesting.

"So you didn't get what you wanted and got some sass for it and you responded like an ogre?"
"She threatened me with a fork to the heart... it's, not a common thing for me and threw me off kilter..."
"he says after making various empty threats to other schoolkids for menial things(in a short under his breath manner just loud and clear enough for the boy to hear) Listen ..Bradley, Bronston?
"IT'S BRESTON"
"Right right, your family has an odd naming convention too, if you really must continue this trend of using intimidation to steam roll through life, don't use it on people that radiate that presence that she does... she isn't so calm and unfazed for a reason."
"What? What is she even here for... are you saying that-"
"The school cannot control beings of her magnitude. She'll show up some days, and then disappear for lengths of time, then be back again, with no enrolment or evidence she was ever a student enrolled at all, but what we did learn early on is that trying to force her to exit the school ended with (a few images slide by of horrific nature) failure."
Breston is stunned aback for a while. Dr Briefs continues.
"If there are any people you aren't inclined to mess with, mark her on your list. If she followed through with her threat- as she has little trouble doing if the past is anything to go by-- there's naught we at the school could do."

Then the next morning comes and the guy is noticeably shaken, Patchouli sits beside him and says "By that look on your face, it seems you now know something of what I am. You're a lucky kid, Breston. You have friends that will keep you out of danger's warpath. Had they not intervened (a dark disturbing version of patchouli's theme play's as she turns to face him with her shining purple eyes) "You'd be the guest of honor at your own funeral."
harsh fade to black with a movie-hit se and the the music is harshly silenced, it says NEXT PHANTASM down the bottom. Then i woke up, feeling joyed of the dream but frustrated because I'll be waiting about a year for the next episode of the Memories of Phantasm.

And that was it, possibly one of the best dreams I've had in ages, dr briefs lecturing someone in their dbz abridged voice, a bully getting put in his place and some scary fucking girl who also is best girl. All green ticks.

I guess this is what watching all those touhou animes, listening to so much of the OST it can keep the tone fresh for a whole 6+ hour stream and having a patchouli doll in my proximity can do.

Now I can say with only the slightest hint of irony. That I dream in anime.

Also that line "You'd be the guest of honor at your own funeral" is one I'm finding a way to use.

Last night my clock was made of cambert.
Assumed you meant Camembert, like the cheese. But then was like no, you said Cambert, and you're british which means you're automatically a cheese enthusiast (I learned such an intricate and frivolous lesson from watching a lot of Wallace and Gromit when I was a wee laddie), and so I had to google to find out the odd clock dilemma.

Well you either meant it was made of robert cambert or another famous person or--
UFPmwbM.png

You've been lied to your entire life.

That or Cambert is a brand of Camembert in Britain and holy shroomnannies that would be confusing!

I've been having some noteworthy dreams lately. I think it might be connect to this Italian Herb spice I've been adding to my supper.

A couple nights I've been dreaming about using RPG Maker. Not one of those going-through the motion type dreams. You know, like if you did an activity all day you feel like you're still doing it when you close your eyes. This was different.
Both times I was effortlessly writing dialogue. And I was like "How am I doing this?!" because normally when I type dialogue it's a neck breaking speed of 10 minutes per sentence. So I'm like, this is a really significant moment and I need to pay attention so I can do this all the time. The second time I had the dream I - it's weird to say- traced it back to a worm that was stringing it all together. So I was like oh, I guess it really wasn't me. That was disappointing.

This other dream I had last night was pretty vivid but the details started slipping away as I was waking up. I think I was in an underground labyrinth running or hiding from someone. Like maybe I stole something. An empty gas container maybe? At the end of this tunnel was a kind of water wall. Like it was an underground aquarium but there was no glass. I remember thinking "this isn't normal water" and I tested it by throwing in an empty gas can. And watched to float up to the surface. And I was like, "Nice. I can use this to get away. They don't know how floating works."
So I jumped in. And things really slowed down, I think I wanted to go slow. I was starting to become lucid and in awe of the dream simulating all these details and sensations. There was all this moss floating in the water, by jumping in I stirred it up. And as I was floating up my motions were attracting the moss too me. So I'm feeling everything. And thinking about how I was probably 10 the last time I swam in a lake, but I still remember what the texture of moss feels like.
And then the sleep paralysis kicks in. And I'm like, ok, don't panic. You can't move but you'll still float. That's what they don't know. I don't know who they are, so don't ask.

I don't know what it is about sleep paralysis but for me it's usually always accompanied by this all-encompassing entity or awareness. Normally it's more of a false-awakening thing where I'm in bed in my room and I can somehow sense the darkness is alive. Or there's someone by my bed. Outside the room. Something like that.
But this time I was still in the dream. And it was the water! The water was alive. And I jumped into it. It's got me. I'm so stupid. Maybe I won't float. And I had the though that the moss was going to tangle me up and drown me.
But then I took a breath and woke up.
And I thought - the gas can made it to the surface! Huzzah!
Like that was the main objective or something. And I got a passing grade.

In retrospect, I think a characteristic of these dreams is that there isn't really a goal that I'm conscious of. That's why it flows and feels effortless.

There are moments as I am waking up when I try to plugin in my intentions hoping I can just witness a perfect vision of whatever I've been developing.
I don't try to imagine it. I just expect it to be there, and it is. So I open up my dream game folder labled [complete]. Run the exe. I see a title screen. But no title. I select new game. I like the confirm sfx. The camera is fading in while panning down a background. White text....AHHHH I can't read in a dream. WHY?!
Oh! I know. I'll go on dream youtube. Bizmonkey would have done a let's play video with voice over! Just got to sift through the video list to find it.
Wait. What's this?! Fantasia disk 4! Oh no. I hope this doesn't make my fan game completely inaccurate. I better start downloading it.
Aw what? 12 hours to completion. Can I leave my dream browser open while I'm awake?

I haven't been sleeping very deep lately. I think I have a rib out out alignment or something that's making me uncomfortable. I tend to flop from side to side in bed. So I'm always coming "to the surface" out of sleep, if that makes sense. I think also, the weather is starting to change with the season. I think that makes me pretty restless too. And pretty frequently, I'm touching nerve, sleeping on it wrong, cutting off circulation. So when I do come out of sleep, on the edge of sleep, I'm thinking "I dying" or "there's bugs crawling on me"

Just recently I had a dream I was back with my college roommate. (I rarely dream of college for some reason). And I went to the grocery store but they don't have my pop. Also they're in the middle of a remodeling. Or at least, that's how I saw it in my sleep. Plastic tarps everywhere. Everything is covered in concrete dust. But you can still shop. That's the crazy thing!

Somehow I ended up at a different place. Standing in line to buy food and drink at some backdoor concession stand. Like Covid is that bad, everything's shutdown but people are still trying to do business. So I got a big fountain drink and a deep-fried something wrapped up to go, which I'm eat on the way to my car.
And it's almost like a fair or circus in town. 'Cause I'm walking against a flow of people. And they're all dressed up in outfits that are like a mix between their Sunday church clothes and Halloween costumes. And this is all in that parking lot. Bad dream continuity I guess. Suddenly my car is forever and a day away on the otherside. But I'm comfortable because I got food with me, and I don't mind the walk. And again, it's like everything is tore up, holes everywhere. Just rained to. So I'm navigating an obstacle course of dirt mounts, puddles, and strange people in strange clothes.

And waking up, I'm thinking, Damn did my heart stop? Was I starting to crossover? Because in retrospect it was like a bomb went off and nobody noticed they were parading to the afterlife.

I had a dream about Beauty and the Beast. Mainly the Beast. And actually at one point the dream change, and it wasn't the beast that was cursed but a talking cat.

I don't know if I was myself or Belle. But The beast was giving me the cold shoulder. But then apologizing by planting me a garden. But it was Topical plants and there was snow on the ground. So I was like "Uhh...I appreciate what you're doing but, we don't all live in an enchanted castle. They'll die in the cold."
And then he said I was a beautiful fool.
There was a lot of poetic irony in what was happening and being said. I was kind of distracted by it all. Like," this is good stuff. I should write this down."

I dreamed about a drider woman attempting to mate with me. I learned so much. Her reproductive organ is located on her underside rear abdomen. That big booty thing spiders have.

Spiders actually breathe from something called a book lung. WTF? Anyway, the drider lady completed her 'task'. I didn't know drider females have a tube like 'thing' hidden inside them. They can literally pump eggs into you... She pumped the pumper. :(

No heavy details this time.

I've been having very vivid dreams lately. Might be connected to the magnesium I took and stretches working on my psoas muscle.

The dreams aren't that interesting, but the sensations are notable. Like some guy bit
my arm and I could still feel it when I woke up. I ordered a milkshake in my dream and could taste it. Smells, taste, and pain aren't things I normally experience in a dream.
They were also full of strangers.

In one I was on the stairs when suddenly the house was tumbling. Lol. And I said "was that an earthquake?" As if earthquakes spin you like the inside of a drier.

I had one of those dreams where it was like "Oh no! I forgot my math homework"
Only I was content to just skip class because it was Move Out day or something, and I was freaking out because I had slept in and couldn't remember any details. I didn't know what day it was, where I parked, what my pin codes or passwords where, what the schedule was.

It was a relief to wake up and was like "Damn. I was in a completely different world that time."
But I've been carrying around this anxiety all day that I can't remember things I forgot.

Started out in a lucid dream state where I was able to float fly at will. For whatever reason, I think to test myself, I decided I should fly over to my grandmas house which is like 200 miles away. I was flying over some pretty vivid landscapes for a while but then I must have gotten bored and became un-lucid. Stopping in a town that was setting up for a festival or assembly of some kind.
It got kind of abstract from there. I think a funeral service was going on, people consoling a husband who's wife died. They presented him with a box of green agate. Like the kind you'd get at gift shops.
I dunno, it was a weird service. I was like, "what's he suppose to do with that?"
and then I had a false recollection that I received a similar box rocks, only they were black and red. I just stuffed them in the corner of my room somewhere and forgot about them. I felt regret. But I'm not sure over what.
