It's still anime in the style of art being used. It's just not...animated. When he calls it an anime intro, I'm sure he was referring to the art style. Lots of other games do that as well.

The opening song look better than original game i must say.
lol, well....I've never relaly played the original game. I found the CG off of Boyis, and I've never seen the H cg since like, ast month when my friend showed it to me :x It was....a weird moment to say the least since I've been working with the characters for almost two years now...... >_>
as for the large pictures, yeah, I know, their going to be replaced by the Chibi drawings I've commissioned once their done on the project thread. As for original game, hm...you mean my last release on here? XD
that was the second real release I had, I think I'm doing alot better than that. I've been gettting good feedback on the places I released the open beta, but for now, I'll wait.
anyways, I jsut got home about 40 mins ago, W00T! 3rd place state chess! XD haha
I'm going to take a nap, and then start the long time of continuous work, if I can't finish before tomorrow night, it will wait another week as I'm focusing on school as much as I can, sorry about that. But hopefully, it will be finished, if nothing else, I'll wait till the chibi's are one, which should be next week anyways. My commissioner, GladyFaith, just got back from DC today as well.
Thanks for the responses though guys, I hope you can all try it out once I actually release it :P
and thanks alot Hanzo XD It really felt good that I've got your support so much, haha, I've had quite some flams before. I'll show you a screeny once I work on the title, for now, I'mma go check the remaining of my messages, go take a shower, have some rest, and then get to work XD

Thanks again, I think it looks really nice, peaceful....sleepy... anyways, I'm going to set the date bake for 2 reasons.
1.) Sithlord999 will be making anew world map to replace the crappy one I have so I want to give him some time.
2.) I'd rather wait for the chibi commisions to be finished first before this release. And it should be done some time this week.
3.) Avion battler
4.) I'm going to just go ahead and build the fusion slot system, which will take a couple of hours.
5.) After the chibi's come in, I want to design a menu off of them. So if that won't work, who knows, but I'd rather try first.

ahh, Idk why, but my commisioner dosn't seem to be so active lately, so it'll take a while, still, I can't work on weekdays so it's not like it matters.
Anyways, the past todays, not today, was raining so there wern't any tennis practice, and I took the time to play around a bit, I added a juke box like feature to the bars, if you talk to the piano player int he bars, you'll get to hear some music XD
Some are good, some you'll recognize, but since I'm not sacrificing space over this, their all midis, however, their great quality ones, and some of them you will definetly remeber XD
Like the Eva opening song, got some SM songs and SRW ones too XD yup, well, just for fun, nothign overly special.
lets see... will the sprite battler is pretty much done, so right now, all I'm really waiting on is to make the custom menu graphics and Stihlord's world map.
The menu, well, I've never made one before, and I probably won't be all that good at it, but I'm hoping that once the character chibis are in, I'll get some inspiration, if not.... well, I'll try and wing it XD or ask someone else :P don't know when the map will be in though, well, right now, all thats looking really slow.
but good news, I got a 96 on my science test XD lol, have to bring up a C from last quarter, it was my worst class, other than that, I'm getting straight A's becuase I'm not working at all, so yup yup, it's good. Instead of RMXP in my spare time, I'm doing some Concept art for an side project I pushed aside a while ago, as well as spriting XD it's a good time for me ^_^

I'm loving the progress of this game :D Great job!
I'm happy to say, that chapter one is now complete and ready for release!!!
Except one problem, it's not ready for release >_>
the menu script seems to be causing some trouble. When it gets encrypted, it won't work. The problem from what Sithlord told me, is that the extra directory is causing trouble when encrypted. Sithlord and Alphachix are trying to help right now, but....
IT"S SO BORING NOT DOING ANYTHING!!!!! AHHH!!!! I don't really know when they can fix it...
damit I'm bored, chapter one is finally finished, but I can't get any feed back >_> ahh, all my work done to waste....
I'm heavily debating whether if worst comes to shove, I'll just release the game uncrypted....
