ok, well, that error wouldn't happen to me, but jsut in case, I made it into parallel run, so maby it'll happen less now.

Anyways, I'm working on the battler sprites atm, as well as the first dungeon.

I might get up an update with the spelling errors all fixed, and the few errors reported...which is only that one above, maybe not. I'll probably update the demo once I get my maps in, thanks to sithlord, and finish the new dungeon.

I doubt I'll finish the battlers by then, since I need to make 4 of them, and another 3 for chapter 2. Which is A WAY far off.

Anyways, I'm pretty sure that the whole chapter one, which ends wtich a boat ride off to the duke's private island, will be complete at latest the end of christmas.
 
an sad update, unfortunately, due to some circumstances, I cannot continue with the animated battler's plan. If I ever get this fixed, I plan on continuing it, but as of now, the original battle system will stay put.
 
That's not too bad, when I first started reading this I thought you were going to be abandoning your project due to a family death or something.

Heh, well, the problem's been fixed? More or less, the animated battlers I'll put on hold for a while, but I'm going to follow through with it, and hopefully, they'll be in the christmas chapter one full demo.
 
ok, well, about that bug that would occur sometimes, I've finnaly figured it out and fixed it. Also, I've added the mog hunter menu and is currently working on the menu graphics.

The new battle system has been pretty much set, and yes, that means tat due to the help of a miricle called dell on call, lol, I've been able to launch the sideveiw battlers again.

Anyways, the maps for more than half the game now is made by sithlord999, and they look amazing. Theres been alot of progress, but I won't be updating it yet.

anyways, expect a new longer and better demo by christmas.
 
Updated the first post with new character art, some extra info and a foreword

Release date is getting pushed back to january, hoefully I'll get everything done over holidays.
 
If am correct?The last screen has a map from someones wrap system. He is polish so I dont think he'lk know about this. Unless your going to put some actual credits, I suggest removing it. Most of the maps in the game arent custom made, which is quite .. annoying : ). Nice idea though, needs work. Needs custom art and graphics to enhance it, it just seems like a badly put together puzzle.
 
Yay! Implemented new maps and the new 8 direction movement script!

Also, almost finished with the completely new stats system!

An 8 direction movement system will make the game a lot more enjoyable. The amount of times you'd want to go diagonally will really add up, so being able to do so helps a lot.

I'd love to hear more about the new stats system.
 
Avalier: yeah, I know, it's already on the credits list. I'll put it up on that paticular post as well if needed then.

As for the art work, most of the rtp sprites are custom made and exclusive, as well as character arts. So I don't know what you mean by that. The mink off battlers were either made by greenraven, dollmage, or me, and I do plan on editing them all, I'm saving greenraven's for last right now.

what do you mean most of the maps arn't custom made, do you mean that from my game with looking at my screenshots or the script demo?

also, I've just intergrated some maps from Etori's map pack.

as for the new stats system, it's simply an recalculation. The players attack rises very lightly with lvling, and is mostly biased on the weapon. And the numbers are to an low and organizable amount.

Almost close to being good. Just gotta do alot of trimming, and them progress with the story as well.
 
alright, I've decided it that I'm losing alot of people's interest on the project becuase I just don't have much tangible, so I've decided to make a teaser demo in order to regain some lost interest.

enjoy. all it really is was taking the intro, cutting it off where game play starts, and relaying it to the ending credits.

Also, I've majorly updated the first post, so please just go over it a bit.

I've gotten alot of work done, but I don't want to update much on this forum as I feel so noobish here >_>

but anyways, heres some of my newest screenys. Also, i've overhauled the first post with new character bios, edited the features, a few new screenys. Just some things very few people ever read.

 
well just updating to say all the screenys are inaccurate again since I've updated the Avion sprite, lol, no bigge though.

Anyway, why the heck is a girl of 14 looking that happy when she's disemboweling somebody?

but quite literally, she's a trained killer, before she lost her memories anyways
