Tried computerpainting in the same way I normally paint for this one (painting shapes rather than working with lines). It hurts my hand and apparently Anna's not man enough to handle it too much. Still, I like how it looks I might do it more often. Bryony's face is my favorite part of these and I think Hebel turned out okay. Grace is GENERIC ANIME and Bobby looks like DISNEY, though.

i told you on irc that i really like this. hebel and bryony are really cool. this is actually some of the best stuff i think that i've seen from you recently. it has a feel to it that's a lot sharper and clearer that some of your other stuff, which is nice.

keep going this this technique it's really cool and it's giving you nice results.

I stopped there because I had to turn off photoshop it was taking 10 seconds to do brushstrokes. I was lucky I managed to save the big jpg, it crapped out completely when I tried to save the psd.

I figured if I had to choose which parts got finished I'd do the bits closest to the face and say it getting blurrier away from the face was deliberate to draw the eye to it.

I have a huge headache. You can see in the image where my headache started. At least I got the face done. I might finish it up properly but I probably won't becuase I wasn't too wild about it in the first place then I forced myself to finish it at least a little bit now my head hurts and I can't stand to look at it.

What's the point of one eyed goggles?

I really, really like this more realistic spin you're putting on things. The detail on the face and hair is top-notch, and the body is really solid shape and colourwise. I generally don't like to post when I don't have anything to say that isn't "good job yes yes," but I think this probably warrants it.

That girl with the voodoo doll in the sketchbook scan is one of the cutest things I've ever seen. I demand more of her!

The parts in this new piece that are finished are absolutely gorgeous, they really stand out from the rest of the picture. But, I understand why you wouldn't want to finish it. Getting burned out on a picture is a terrible thing.
