Btw, all these sets except for the dark knight full, the other full sprite, emotions, dark knight pants, and dark knight top are outdated.
Edit: I'm too lazy to update the sprites, but I did fix them, hehe.. *plans on making a thread for this stuff*

Hey that looks really nice, but it appears to me that it has been washed out (well it's to light, it needs to be darkened.) Look how green birds characters all have dark outlines and rich colors, that a characteristic of the style that makes it cute.

Well you shouldn't use Photoshop for spriting. You should use a simple program like MS paint, Gimp, or Graphics Gale.

As for the pillow shading, i dont know how to avoid that....seriously. As for knight's helmet..you can't be serious, does it hafta look just like it did in medival england? In rome, they look lot different then they do in england, and so it can look different. I'm sure a lot of things people sprite now look nothing like medival england did. So yeah...

First off if I offended you in any kind of way, it was not intentional. As for pillow shading you can learn how to shade properly through practice. You should learn exactly what pillow shading is so that you can avoid it.

As for the helmet comment it does not scream knight helmet to me, I am telling you that because, think of me as the general public if people play your game and see your sprite and don't see it as a knight then that is a problem. Your sprites should be easily recognizable so that the viewer instantly knows what he or she is looking at.

It's not perfect but it is not necessarily bad, you are getting better and that is what is important. Anything worth learning takes time to grasp. If spriting was something you could learn at a lightning fast pace, everyone would be as good as Tana! The thing to remember here is that in life everything takes practice, patience, and diligence. You cant throw in the towel just because it's getting difficult. Just keep practicing and you will get better.
