Guys you completely understood the point of what i said.

Look at it form my point of view. I've been looking at games for atleast 2 years around, and the past year on online games. As i am planning to invest in one if it sells well. Every game i've seen thats online is no different to anything else. Until i saw yours. I thought it was fantastic. But the thing is every release date you set it's always cancelled and changed to a further date. So i just believe theres nothing here. But if you say you have done this well and it's worked then fair enough, but i can't believe that until online playing proof.

So a one man team isn't allowed to change it's release dates? Hell, even real companies out there change release dates.

Btw, video is in my last post.

I have set two release dates in the past, and both of these I have stressed were estimated and completely dependant on how fast certain things are made. I made a mistake with how long I thought the server would take to install for example - instead of a matter of minutes, it's taken a lot longer, since there aren't many websites out there to help people who are completely new to Linux. Or setting up Netplay+ 2.0 - 1.x was easy so I thought 2.x would be too, and fair enough it was, but very unstabl-y so I've resorted back to 1.6.3, which has meant I have to script my own versions of some of the systems not in it. Plus things are unfinished in Netplay - such as bugs in trading, and chat bugs I had to fix, etc. All of these things take up time.

I notice Fate's disappeared now that I've actually posted a video.

Anyway, I managed to get a scrollbar working for the chat, and I've made it so that you don't walk when you click the chat box. (Previously, the point-click movement didn't differentiate between clicking the map and clicking the buttons/ads/chat...) Not much, but it's took me all week to do, so... meh.

Firstly, ignore the map in these screenshots, it's just a test map.

What these show:
> Messages are shown in message boxes, and then in the chat box for your reference. (As chat is scrollable).
> Legendary Foes have an aura around them so you can tell them apart from other enemies.
> To cast a spell/use a skill, you move the mouse over the tab that says "skills". A window appears with skill icons in, clicking them casts the skills. (Casting is currently broken, about to post in support :))

NOTE: The scroll buttons need to be changed, I'm getting to it.

Hey Wyatt I joined your forums. :) I'm Vengence lover 101 in your forums, but anyways I am REALLY excited to play your game
and I knew from the first time i saw this it WAS real. :)

btw, you're a FUCKING moron Fate you are a lifeless ignorant bastard, did your parents beat you with a metal baseball bat to a bloody pulp? :D

From the website

The Kingdom of Avalon is almost complete.

But the bit I'm working on now is more of the Desert chapters. They are complete except for one or two bugs, once done I can testplay most of the game so far and see if it works. *Hopes*

Just so you know the journey goes:

Aramidia
V
Myre
V
Golda'ea
V
Aramidia
V
Green Forest
V
Aramidia
V
Desert
V
Avalon
V
Place X (spoiler...)

And that journey is made up of about 30 chapters, or storyline quests, of varying length.

Green areas are complete as far as I know and fully working (also as far as I know). Orange areas are started but not finished. Red areas are not started.

I may add in an area between Desert > Avalon. This will be the Dwarvern Kingdoms. Though I may save this for Winterborn (Campaign II).

I made another video, this time is is an actual in-game video rather than a test battle. This shows part of the desert chapter, where you obtain the daemonic artifact you've been after all this while.

I tried to record the actual game soundtrack but it didn't work. (There's a lot of key sound effects in it). Instead I had to resort to adding in the music in the video editor.

Ah well.

The falling rocks by the way that keep appearing, are traps. When you walk under them they hurt you.

This is a video of a screenshot I posted before I think.

This is actually one of the games I am expecting more to be finished and god, I will be sure to test your security mesures :)

EDIT there is a map error in you screens, the smoke is behind the roof. Sorry if this has been said already but i can't quite remember XD

I noticed that after I posted it, and fixed it, but thanks anyway. :)

I've done some work now on an admin control panel, with things such as setting yourself to invisible, kicking named players, and kicking all players. It's annoying that the most complicated systems are the ones that nobody sees :(...

Update - Bosses

Just spent a bit of time making some bosses.

What is a boss?
A boss is a difficult foe who often has many times the amount of HP of the player. They are generally at the end of quests or chapters. (A chapter is a quest which makes up part of the storyline of a campaign, i.e. Inquisition).

Screenshot 1: A boss in the Myre chapter, called a Myre Troll.

Screenshot 2: (Probably not the best screenshot in the world) fighting a boss in Aramidia.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v108/ ... 17dec2.png[/img]

These are some of the bosses so far. (Note some).

1. Orc
HP: 20
MP: 5
Skills: Triple Attack (can only use once)
Location: Training mission
Chapter: 2

2. Order Henchman
HP: 45
MP: 10
Skills: Healing Energy, Strength Up
Location: Aramidia
Chapter: 3

3. Order Henchman
HP: 60
MP: 25
Skills: Healing Energy, Fireball
Location: Airship
Chapter: 4

4. Myre Troll
HP: 120
MP: 0
Skills: None
Location: Myre
Chapter: 5

5. Daemon
HP: 320
MP: 40
Skills: Steal life, Steal magic, Summon minion
Location: Green Forest
Chapter: ~13

6. Dragon
HP: 400
MP: 40
Skills: Firebreath, Smoke
Location: Sharktooth Cave, Desert
Chapter: ~15

Note: HP/MP/Skills may change over time due to balancing.

The HP/MP/Skills of enemies, are generally proportionate to what the player should be at at that time, or what they should be able to deal with. They are supposed to be difficult, but not impossible, and likewise not too easy.

More bosses will be added when I get time, I might even do one per chapter. They don't have to be at the end of a chapter by the way, for example the Myre Troll is just after one of the puzzles in the Myre "Dungeon". (Dungeon meaning a maze like map full of puzzles, not in the sense of a cave).

Oh and yes, the troll is a slight hint at the three billie-goat's fairytale.

when the heck does this game come out? Me and my friends have been waiting forever for a game online other than runescape, especially an RMXP one!!!
