I didn't read through all of the replies, and maybe it's in there. But do you have a scheduled release date, or even an estimate?  I'm all giddy with anticipation.  I'll be going with the Collector's Edition (if it's still available)  And p2p. : )  This is very well thought out and has death-defying potential!  Keep it up.  You've got a fan.

The original release date was Halloween. Then it was December. Then it was Spring Equinox. I think he's kind of given up with guessing a release date, but rest assured he's making big progress towards the first release.

Indeed, thats why I didn't really want to set one in the first place.

I hope to get it finished by the summer, if I can, though I can't promise anything.

Although I am impressed that someone may be able to create a successful orpg on rmxp, I really wish that a customized or at least non-rtp sprites and graphics were used. But I will still watch and wait on playing this because I think that maybe it will go great even without them.

He (almost always) has to pay/get permission from all artists' whose sprites he uses due to  commercial issures. He's spent like, 500? already, or something like that. I think he can live with the RTP as it is for right now. O_o

He doesn't have to pay for the RTP, according to the Enterbrain license. Unless you're talking about him making his own original graphics. In that case, well, nothing really I have to say there.

I started off using a different template, the K-Sama. But with no resources, and being a bitch to make, I sided with the RTP. I would rather have a less-good template but a complete game, than a better template and an unreleased game. Plus, most people said the K-Sama made the sprites look undetailed anyway.

I've been working on the actual storyline/gameplay, and it's coming together nicely, I guess. Twists and all. I also managed to get some Nazi Germany references in there... how sad. Lebensraum and all that jazz.

Man this keyboard sucks. Lousy school computers with friggin 1024x768 resolution on a friggin widescreen monitor...

Maybe I shouldn't type serious stuff when I'm this tired and bored and many other words ending in ed  :dead:

Okay, i have posted in a recent post a *while* i mean a really long while, havn't posted on rmxp for long time =[. Anyway i have been looking over some of the games in the past time i have been away at the games i believe are the best on rmxp. yes i believe this could be one of them. But in a post some time ago i said that your release dates are just exceeding to an extent where is the game releasble or is it all good stuff put together on paint just for show to look like you've done decent stuff. yes i have done it before so i know it's easily possible. I have seen your video's and i have seen your forums and your progress is unbelievably impressive. But all of your work is being put to waste from keeping it from the people who want, or shall i say need to play it :P. This isn't a post to say you a guy who is wasting our time, it's not believe me. But if you take the good from this and the advise of releasing something people you put people of then rest asure this will be a good game Well i'll probably not reply again so don't give me a question xD Cya Rmxp.
