Those bosses are really nice. the blob guy especially. you're really falling into a style that I like a LOT. really nice stuff and you're improving FANTASTICALLY.
at the same time, though, they make the breeze itself (even the new one!) look bad by comparison. it's SO MUCH nicer than the first one, but when looking at the really nice boss sprites the breeze seems to have so much less character.

haha in all honesty Green Raven these really are awesome and I love the updates(even if they're incredibly distracting). Keep it up! I'm still waiting eagerly for those tiles @_@ xD Once me and wabbit finish up the first Hard-Boiled tileset I'll help out on that Breeze RTP conversion a bit if you want! That's a lot of work for one person and my sprites are decent enough that you'd probably just have to make very minor edits *cough*onthehair*cough* for them to fit

The two things I noticed about your sprite right away are the cape/thing that goes slightly over his face, and the hair. The cape stands out because the palette is so different from GR's and it doesn't fit too well, it's too desaturated. The hair well.. is looks kinda like a big mess =/ Three little suggestions I could give you would be to not try to fit as much detail in, once again use GR's palettes or make sure the one's you're making have similar saturation and contrast, and to give it more volume. Right now it looks like it's a bit stuck to the head.
Here's a little 5 minute doodle I did. It's not so awesome because I didn't bother going back through and refining everything(like I said, 5 minute doodle) but it should still help you in the right direction

GR: I was waiting for you to do the hero with the scarf, he's my favorite ^_^ His little cowlick is a bit distracting though, if I were to use the sprite I'd probably erase it or at least make it smaller.
Exactly what kind of hairstyle does the lancer have though? O.o I could never figure out what it was supposed to be xD
