What, are you dumb?  The arm cannon thing was a response to someone who was talking about Link's sword wasn't really 'realistic'.

And by the way, there must be a reason the Wii version of GH3 is 10000x more popular.

Your arguments make no sense.  Have some proof to back them up if you're going to run your mouth.

Okay, firstly, it's the fact you said "if you're looking for 'realistic' movement, go play a game like Metroid 3.  The game has you moving the arm cannon through the whole thing.", thus saying that the way you're holding the arm cannon is realistic.

Secondly, I heard the X360 version was by far more popular, the only reason it sold so well on the Wii is because it's one of the only games that actually makes use of the Wii's online mode, but that doesn't make it any more popular than any other version.

And thirdly, my argument does make sense, go figure it out, there's a cookie for you when you're done.

Super Mario - The magic died for me after 3, galaxy in my opinion is a waste of time with a shoddy control scheme (yes, I did just say that fanboys/fangirls)

I love people who think that five minutes of play are all it takes to validate an opinion.

People who just look at screenshots are even better.

I say this because you obviously have no idea how that "shoddy control scheme" is used throughout the game. The Wii-mote's point-and-click goodness is hardly used in the game, aside from light and intermittent shaking and pointing. With that aside, since it obviously can't be part of your argument, what's shoddy about a control stick? You must have hated all the other Mario platformers to date, since running and jumping are controlled the same way they've been controlled since Donkey Kong -- albeit with the not-so-recent addition of a full swivel D-pad.

Please come back when you can debate in a respectful tone. So many people on the internet nowadays mistake arguments for blood feuds, and you'll find that people are more receptive to your points if you don't treat your opponents with the same reverence as you would a sandwich.

Actually, I played SMG for about half a day, and to be honest you may like it but I personally don't, especially the fact that the camera won't rotate half the time and when did I moan about the control stick?

Perhaps it is because you were stating that it has shoddy controls, as a fact? 

You can say that the control scheme isn't to your liking, but you'd be hard-pressed to find a better controlled game.

Honestly, playing Wii Sports, or Mario Galaxy, or Super Smash Bros. Brawl , is not going to stop you from getting fat. Besides, who stands up while playing Wii?

Besides, from what I've heard, the 360 has a lot of fun games, in fact, I think there may be more fun, and original games for the 360, than Wii. Which is not to say there aren't kick-ass games on Wii, which there are.

I got a Wii for Christmas the year it came out, and it has been a very On/Off system for me. I used it for quite a while when Zelda was new, but then I stopped until Metroid, then stopped until, BT3 and Medal of Honor Heroes, and now I have been playing guitar Hero and Mario Galaxy non-stop on it.

I think it was worth the money for those game though. They were each truly amazing.

I own both a 360 and a Wii, and I'm probably on the Wii more because I'm not just sitting on my ass "pwning noobs" in Halo or something.
Honestly, it's really irritating to hear "Oh, well the Wii has poor gameplay" (assassingscreedfan2102 on some random 2nd rate gaming forum) and "It's not a real next gen system!" (my neighbour). Rather than sitting on your ass pressing buttons, you get to get off your lazy ass and move...as well as pressing buttons -_- (bad point)
The graphics are fine, I don't see a problem with them. Yeah they're not "the latest" but I'm pretty sure graphics aren't everything, take gameplay into account for crying out loud.

As for Camisado saying random movements or whatever, try playing Wii Sports or Red Steel...

Example: Wii Golf you have to hold the controller down, and swing it like a real golf club. Red Steel you can turn the gun sideways which I have to admit is one of my fave parts of the gameplay :P

Face it, the Wii is amazing~

That dear friend, is an opinion.  I can play all the Wii Sports games sitting down, and they're still lame.  I play video games to get comfortable on my couch, and be lazy.  I get enough of a workout on my two football teams and in PE class at school. 

In my opinion Nintendo has sacrificed it's good gameplay to help satisfy the non-gamers.  I found their newest games to be gimmicky and too easy.  The same with 3rd party developers, they want to get on the wii bandwagon to make some money. 

The one thing I really like about the Wii is that I only need to use one hand for some games so I can eat with my other hand the whole time without having to wipe them

The wii has atleast twice the power of the gamecube. However, its stupid when people say the wii is just a gamecube with new controller. The Wii is the only next-gen console. What do the 360 and PS3 have that their previous consoles didn't? Besides easier online gaming, nothing besides graphics and processing power. They offer no change at all.


I do have a 360, and it has a lot of pros. It sells well for a reason. But so does the Wii.

And you ask yourself why a lot of OLDER people are getting it? For the fact that most adults could care less about the quality of graphics (Lets face it - By now, few games have bad graphics. There are only those that have better than others, but hardly any game has graphics that detract from gameplay, like 2D sprites does) and more about the fun of the game.

I can sort of agree on that part, though I believe No More Heroes trumps your "kiddy" arguement (And noone gives a shit about Manhunt 2). As for other third party games, Ubisoft and Capcom are the only ones doing it remotely right when it comes to good games. Honestly, the Wii's launch titles were shoddy in the third party development, but they're slowly learning how to make the games better. Therefor, I still have hope for the Wii.

I hate playing Wii standing up. My friend was trying to play Link's Crossbow Training standing up the other day and I kept telling him to sit down. You don't need to stand up to play.

I'm a tad confused about the shoddy controls in galaxy. The camera worked fine and the IR mechanics worked just fine. It's almost the same as using a normal controller, just not attached. Even if they were bad, they worked fine for me, I got all 121 stars with Luigi. Maybe I'm just AWESOME

360 is very fun. I like it. Too.

I think there's an unwritten rule about discrediting arguments that help the point you're currently going for. It's a jackass move, it weakens your own argument, and furthermore it'll make your momma cry.

And in my opinion, people who had problems with the Galaxy camera have wither watched too much Zeropunctuation (it's raucously funny, but so many people don't understand hyperbole) or have led a nurtured life of nothing but games with good camera controls.

You can see what you're doing and the camera never scrolls you into a wall. That's my definition of a good camera. I played the game and had no complaints about it, although maybe that's just me, failing to overanalyze it.
