Where do you think we go when we die?

It's the question nobody knows the answer to and everyone keeps asking. So tell me, where do you think we go when we die?
I think we go into some giant maze or something and if we don't get out, we're stuck till we do. But if we get out we go to spiritual paradise. What about you guys?

Wyatt's answer is true.

But going deeper, many says heaven or hell. But no one could prove anything until we ourselves die and see for ourselves..

Where do we go when we die? To be honest, I stand firm on the Buddhist philosophies. I think that, depending on how we act on earth, are subject to being sent back here as various things. When you finally "do it right" as it were, you are sent to heaven. Note, that I am a christian also. I just think that it's harder to get into hell than most believe. I find it hard to believe that a "forgiving" god would send his subjects to hell with only 1 chance (because people are a product of their environment and their actions aren't always their own doing).
Sorry for the long explanation but I hope this adds to this thread! :)

We're born, we die, we rot.

Kinda depressing when you look at it that way, but hey: that won't be for a while yet. :thumb:

You honestly can't ask that question nowadays without someone becoming super offended and start to rant about god.

It's sad really, but here's what I think of the subject...

If there is some great and holy creator, one would think he/she/it was a smart guy/girl/it. So why would we be given free-will had we been expected to act uniform and good and war with eachother in his name? I think that we were given free will to live the way we want. So I don't think there is a heaven, nor a hell. And there's no way to know what it's like on the other side, so it's useless asking or even thinking about it.

it doesn't really matter one way or the other. dwelling on it and wondering what comes next distracts you from actually living, and once you get to the point where it really matters you realize that you wasted your life wondering.

And it doesnt matter where we will all go when we die. Dont ask for answers, you will just get it when its your time. Just live your life to the fullest then judge by yourself whats gonna happen when you die...

Well, being very close to the origanal writings of the bible, it's some-what more complex then the "good people go strait to heven."

When we die, our souls are sent to a "waiting place for good and bad people" refered to as "The Grave". We don't go to heven as soon as we die, when Messah(Jesus/Yesuha) comes again, we are sent to heven and bad people to heck. And no, we don't become angels. And no, Jesus did not go to hell when he died, he was sent to The Grave to preach to the people who died before him. Moses, Abram, Adam, etc... Because we are saved by faith in Jesus. not works.

Good call.

Also, I personally say that "we" don't go anywhere, because "we" are dead so "we" don't exist (minus the obvious physical corpse that we have buried or cremated or whatever).

That is the Christian viewpoint. Of curse, if we die in battle we come to Valhalla, to get prepared for Ragnarök, if we die in normal way, we are sent to hel, not to
hell.

You can express your disagreement with a religion without insulting it.

For those who are good, a Tegan and Sara concert that lasts forever, with intermission by The Roots and Seatbelts.

Hell is Ja Rule and Akon.
