what i need s one that shows how to make a brief sign appear telling where you are like on pokemon or i want to say fire mblem but its been so long since i played i can't remember lol please help ???
 
I love using acid pro. You can use midi if you have a midi keyboard or you can use digital audio samples it's quick and effective sounds professional too!
 
I need a tutorial on how to make skills which level up with use. Like, say a fire spell that gets stronger every fifth time you use it or something.
 
I would be willing to help out with all the tutorials here that are never made.

I could do any specific battle and menu like things with eventing.

But making resources and music and all that junk...besides titles...I have no idea.

I need a tutorial on how to make an Item storage system, but I don't want to use scripts. Can anyone help me?
 
Well, If someone hasn't already asked, I'd like a tutorial on how to build a pirate ship with the ship tile set. I've tryed to get it right but none of it seems to match correctly.

Can you make the tutorial cover two types of save points?

The first type is one where you walk over it and then the game tells you that you can then save

The next type is where you walk to an object (such as a statue or a crystal) and then press the general action button (whatever that maybe :P) and then the game gives you an option whether to save or not. It'll then commence saving when you choose save

First:
Make an event set to through as "Player Touch" for activation mode. Code it as "Call Save Screen" from the event command pages (either page 1 or page 3, can't recall).

Second:
Same thing, except making the activation mode as "Action Button" instead of player touch, and make it an object graphics without through mode. If you want to do the asking thing, then simply put the message "Save?", followed by show choices, yes and no. Under yes, select event command Call Save Screen. If no, do nothing.
 
I'd like to know if there is a tutorial (or even resources) about how to create a proper light ray (From sun, through window, from candle, which light tone is a proper, how to know how big the picture is supposed t obe to "light up" the parts you want, etc) which functions like a picture or frameset, and how to apply it.
 
I know it sounds kinda noobish, but since I'm very new to RPG Maker, it would benefit me greatly to have some kind of guidelines for making balanced stats on both NPCs, PCs, and Items, Weaponry, etc. I've tried to mimic the FF games a lot, but its gotten hard since you really don't know any hard statistics on monster health, mana, etc. Any help would be AWESOME!!!
